ICG opens recruitment for AC jobs – Candidates seeking employment have a happy news once again, thanks to Indian Coast Guard. The organisation that guards India’s maritime frontiers has invited applications from young graduates for the post of Assistant Commandants.
Sources say, general graduates along with those having a degree in B.E. or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and other branches are eligible to apply.

The type of the job is permanent and the candidate can be posted anywhere in India, the pay scale for the post as per 7th Pay Matrix Level 10 With Initial Basic Pay of Rs. 56,100/- Plus Allowances.

The application for the post of Assistant Commandant job was opened on 9 February and the last date for applying is 5:00 pm of 15 February. The admit card for the exam can be downloaded on 25 February onward.
A) All statements made in the application should be true and correct. Candidates should understand that in the event of any information being found false or incorrect, the candidature will be cancelled.
B) The candidate should undertake to produce all original certificates and statement of marks with two self attested photocopies each at the time of appearing for the Selection Test.
C) Filling up a duplicate form will render the candidate disqualified.
D) Candidates to choose any one venue provided out of the options displayed.
E) Candidates should take utmost care in furnishing the correct details while filling-up the on-line application. They can edit the information before submission of application. Once the form is submitted, it cannot be edited.
F) Name of candidate, father’s/mother’s name and date of birth should be as given in the 10th class pass certificate. Any variation of Name/Father’s Name/Mother’s Name/Date of Birth (DOB) from 10th Certificate will debar their candidature and you will not be allowed to appear in examination.
G) While furnishing mobile no. and e-mail ID; candidates should keep in mind that mobile no. & e-mail ID should remain operational and not to be changed during entire recruitment process and will be used for all the correspondences regarding recruitment.
