IAS IPS NDA Exams 2020, dates for these popular exams could be declared on June 5 this week. All these exams were postponed in the recent past owing to corona virus outbreak.
Earlier, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) which conducts IAS IPS NDA Exams 2020 posted a notice that new dates for these competitive exams will be hosted on June 5 after reviewing the situation on its official website.

Nation went into a lockdown more than two months ago with an objective of putting a break to corona virus spread from creating more problems.
This left no feasibility for IAS IPS NDA Exams 2020 to be conducted as per their earlier planned schedule. The basic idea behind cancelling IAS IPS NDA Exams 2020 was taking into account the importance health of all individuals.
Conducting exams will give way to largescale gatherings which in turn can become a convenient passage for corona virus to spread.
Website of UPSC which can be reached on the url ‘upsc.gov.in’ is running the scrolling message ‘Revised programme of Examinations/RTs-2020 including Civil Services Prelims 2020 will be uploaded on 5 June after reviewing the situation.’
The press release on May 20 said the Commission (UPSC) took note of the progressive relaxations being announced by the Central Government and various States and has decided to review the situation once more,
after the fourth period of lockdown.
With a view to giving some clarity to candidates of various examinations and interviews, which have been deferred over the last two months, the Commission will issue a revised schedule of examinations in its next meeting to be held on June 5.
Details of the new calendar of examinations will be published on the UPSC website, after the Commission’s meeting on June 5, 2020.
With this notification the doubts regarding IAS IPS NDA Exams 2020 seem to have come to rest. This year has stood unique with regards to IAS IPS NDA Exams 2020.

Schedule with regards to IAS IPS NDA Exams 2020 was declared much earlier like that of the previous year. However, these exams could not be conducted smoothly like what was done in 2019.
Ever since IAS IPS NDA Exams 2020 were cancelled, applicants for these exams are eagerly looking for the opportunity to write them once again.
UPSC IAS exam is conducted in three stages namely prelims, mains and personality test. Prelims exam for IAS was supposed to be held on May 31 this year. Even the previous year’s personality test is also postponed.
NDA (I) 2020 was supposed to be held on April 19. Candidates who write this exam go to the next stage of recruitment in Army, Navy and Air Force where their physical and mental fitness will be tested.
This also did not happen owing to corona virus outbreak. The mains exam of IES 2020 was to take place on June 28.
Candidates who pass this exam can become engineers in various departments of Government of India. And this too is to be conducted now on another date.
UPSC also conducts exam to recruit Assistant Commandants in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). The schedule for this exam was to be released on April 22. Dates for this will also be announced on June 5.
UPSC Combined Medical Services Exam for 2020 was scheduled for notification on April 8. This will now be done on a different date. Even the exam date for this which is currently July 19 will also likely be postponed.
Though postponement of IAS IPS NDA Exams 2020 seem to be a disappointment for many, this is also a blessing in disguise.
The IAS IPS NDA Exams 2020 would have been conducted by now, however that did not happen only to perhaps give more time to its applicants to prepare better, say experts.
Applicants of IAS IPS NDA Exams 2020 must use the time available now to learn more concepts so that they can attend the examination with confidence.
