This is about applying for HITSEEE (Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Engineering Entrance Examination) conducted to provide admission into UG engineering, architecture and design courses in HITS.
HITSEEE 2024 exam registration schedule
HITSEEE 2024 exam registration commenced on 16 December 2023 and the last date to submit application as informed earlier is 29 April 2024.
Entrance exam (HITSEEE) will be conducted from 3 to 10 May 2024. The rank list publication will be done on 13 May 2024.
Counselling will take place from 22 to 29 May 2024. Classes are to start from 10 July 2024.
Courses to apply
The engineering courses on offer through HITSEEE 2024 exam are Aeronautical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Biotechnology, Computer Science Engineering and so on.
BDes courses offered through HITSEEE 2024 exam are Interior Design, Fashion and Apparel Design and Communication Design.
Candidates willing to join BArch also must take up HITSEEE 2024 exam. Applicants must have the required eligibility to take up HITSEEE 2024 exam.
Eligibility
BTech
Candidates focusing on engineering must pass plus-two with maths, physics and chemistry as subjects with a pass percentage of 50 at the minimum.
Those willing to apply for BTech in Biotechnology should pass plus two with biology, physics and chemistry.
The applicants must have a pass percentage of 50 at the minimum. They should also have passed NATA exam or JEE Mains Paper 2.
BDes
Applicants should be a plus two pass in any stream with a minimum pass percentage of 50 if they are to take up HITSEEE 2024 exam.
Age limit
Candidates should have a date of birth that falls on or after 1 July 2004 to take up HITSEEE 2024 exam.
How to apply?
The process to take up HITSEEE 2024 exam registration is online. Applications are to be submitted at ‘https://apply.hindustanuniv.ac.in/’
1. The URL mentioned above must be typed into the browser and submitted to allow it to download.
2. Once the webpage is ready, candidates can scroll down the page and click Apply Now button.
3. Clicking the above button will open another webpage with URL ‘https://apply.hindustanuniv.ac.in/hitseee’
4. Once the webpage with above URL opens, candidates can click the Register button under Admissions 2024 menu.
5. After clicking the above button, they can register and create an account.
6. After creating an account, applicants can login to take up HITSEEE 2024 exam registration.
Counselling is where the candidates can choose the course of their choice and the institution to study it.
Those who do not get the seat of their choice in the initial rounds can try in later rounds as counselling will likely be conducted in multiple rounds.
Students who get a seat in the counselling can convey their acceptance and pay the fees and join the institution for classes.
