GlobalShala superhero winners will visit great UN HQ
GlobalShala has recently announced that the winners of its ‘Superhero U’ contest will get an opportunity to visit the headquarters of United Nations Organisation in New York.
It was not long ago that GlobalShala announced the commencement of its ‘Superhero U’ for which entries can be submitted till 9 October this year.
It is interesting to note that GlobalShala had ealier announced prizes worth USD 90,000 for the winners and upto a total of seven final round winners will be announced across the globe.
Sources from GlobalShala say the motive behind Superhero U contest was to cultivate a group of forward thinking young leaders, where individuals are to invent a ‘Superhero’ that essentially takes on universal challenges and strives to make the world a better place.
Inspired by the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), GlobalShala has crossed the boundaries with this initiative and has invited applications from across the globe to participate.
Participants in the Superhero U contest by GlobalShala have to just use their creative ability and design their own hero in posters, comic strips, videos or videogames that feature their hero who is making efforts to solve a global problem.
Candidates willing to participate must submit their entries at the offcial website for the contest.
The start date to submit the concepts in connection with the competition of Superhero U by GlobalShala was 23 July.
Participants can submit their entries till 9 October.
Participants in the contest by GlobalShala must be a high school student or a college student.
Candidates willing to take part in the contest by GlobalShala have to first visit the official website for the competition at ‘https://mysuperhero.globalshala.com/’
Post clicking the link and subsequent download of the required webpage, participants who are already registered can click ‘Submit An Entry’ button written in white colour on orange background and submit their entry.
However those who are not registered already have to press another link located below the ‘Submit An Entry’ button titled ‘If you are a new user, please click here’ for registering themselves.
Candidates must provide their first name, last name, email, password, country they are from, their current qualification, contact number, superhero code and then click the disclaimer checkbox and submit the information to register.
Post registration and obtaining of the password and userid, candidates can login by clicking ‘Submit An Entry’ and provide their entry.

Attractive gadgets, cash prizes, scholarships for education are among the prizes that would adorn those who emerge winners in the contest organised by GlobalShala.
The grand prize would be a trip to headquarters of United Nations.

Hence, taking into account the global perspective, we are planning to announce one winner from each continent, making a total of 7 final round winners who will be chosen to visit New York, USA.
We hope to aspire individuals across the world to create their own Superhero and aim towards transforming these creative ideas into action plans for global development, she said.
Besides this, GlobalShala has also introduced an interesting referral program, where individuals can refer their family and friends and win Amazon gift cards worth $1000.
So far GlobalShala has received entries from over 50 countries for the competition.
