GATE 2024 registration start date has been postponed to 30 August 2023. As per the earlier schedule, the application submission was to start by 24 August, now it will begin on 30 August 2023.

Students can visit the official website ‘https://gate2024.iisc.ac.in/’ from 30 August 2023 as per the new schedule to take up GATE 2024 registration.

GATE 2024 registration will now start by 30 August 2023. The rest of all are as per the old schedule mentioned below. They can visit the official website for more information, while taking a look at earlier version for clarity.

Old

GATE 2024 registration was to commence from 24 August 2023 and last till till 29 September 2023. Now the application submission will start on 30 August 2023. Candidates registering in these days need not pay late fee.

As per the earlier schedule, candidates could apply till 13 October 2023 by paying a late fee. Modification in GATE 2024 application can be taken up from 7 to 11 November 2023.

Admission Open in SRM for 2025

Candidates who have completed their GATE 2024 registration will be able to download admit cards for the test from 3 January 2024 onwards.

The exam will be conducted on 3,4,10,11 February 2024. Candidate’s response will be available on the official portal on 16 February 2024.

Answer keys are to be available on the website on 21 February 2024. Candidates can submit challenges to the answer keys from 22 to 25 February 2024.

Admission Open in LPU for 2025

The results for GATE 2024 will be announced on 16 March 2024 and score cards would be available for download from 23 March 2024 onwards.  More details are in the tabular format below:

The day of the exam

About the exam

The full name of the exam is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, its popularly known to all as GATE. It is a national level exam conducted once a year.

GATE 2024 is meant to be conducted for the year 2024. The GATE score obtained by the candidates will remain valid for a period of three years from the date of announcement of results.

GATE score is also used by some colleges and institutions for admission to postgraduate programs. Several Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) have also been using GATE score for recruitment.

The exam is conducted by IITs and IISc Bangalore on behalf of National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education of Government of India.

Who can take up GATE 2024 registration?

Candidates who have completed graduation in the relevant discipline from a recognized educational institution can take up GATE 2024 registration.

The bachelors degree can be from the field of Engineering, Technology, Science, Architecture/ and Humanities.

Even those who have appeared for their qualifying degree exam and are waiting for the results or are about to appear for the final exams can also take up GATE 2024 registration.

However, these people have to pass the exam and provide a proof for it by the time the admission process begins. More details are provided below:

How to take up GATE 2024 registration?

The process to take up GATE 2024 registration is online and candidates can submit applications at the official website that is reachable with the URL ‘https://gate2024.iisc.ac.in/’

1. The URL mentioned above must be typed into the browser and submitted to allow the webpage to download.

2. Once the webpage is ready, candidates can click the information brochure to know about the exam.

3. After knowing about the exam, candidates can click the link for registration.

4. After clicking the link, they can register and create an account with username and password.

5. Post account creation, candidates can login and start applying for the exam.

GATE 2024 registration

The same is Rs 1400 per paper if applying during the extended time duration of 30 September to 13 October 2023. All other candidates will be paying Rs 1800 per paper if applying in the regular duration.

How to download the admit card?

The process to download admit card for GATE 2024 is online. Candidates have to visit the official website to download the hall ticket with the help of URL ‘https://gate2024.iisc.ac.in/’

1. The URL mentioned above has to be typed into the browser and submitted to allow the website to download.

2. Once the website is ready, candidates have to click the link to download the hall ticket.

3. After clicking the link, they can enter their roll number/application number and other required details and submit them to obtain the hall ticket.

Point to remember

Candidates who have successfully completed their GATE 2024 registration will alone be able to download the admit card. The link to download hall ticket will be made active at the appropriate time, a few days before the commencement of the exam.

Point to remember

GATE 2024 registration is just one part of the whole effort to gain admission into postgraduate courses. There is a lot of things that happen after GATE 2024 registration.

Applicants have to pass the exam with the required qualifying marks which are also known as cutoff marks, these are the minimum marks the candidates have to score in the exam to be eligible for the next phase of admission.

Score of the candidates, have to either greater than cutoff or equal to it to be eligible for the next stage of the process. Also, students must ensure there is no room left for errors while taking up GATE 2024 registration.

Committing mistakes while taking up GATE 2024 registration may later on lead to rejections, so the applicants have to exert caution while filling the application forms.

Last date to submit applications was extended till 12 March 2025 from its earlier 10 March 2025.

The registration process began on 20 February 2025, hall tickets will be available for download from 10 April onwards.

Candidates who have successfully completed their KEAM 2025 registration will be able to download admit cards.

Exam will be conducted from 22 to 30 April 2025. Results will be out on or before 10 June 2025.

What is the KEAM 2025 exam?

The full name of the exam is Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical Exam, it is a state-level exam conducted once a year. KEAM 2025 is meant to be held this year (2025).

The exam is conducted in offline mode and answers have to be registered on a separate answer sheet at the designated test center. The questions in KEAM 2025 would be related to maths, physics, and chemistry.

Questions will be in a multiple-choice format where each question has more than one reply and the right one among that has to be chosen to get marks.

There will be two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2, Paper 1 has questions related to physics and chemistry. Paper 2 will have questions from mathematics.

Admission Open in VIT for 2025

Students who wish to join engineering in graduation have to appear for both papers. Aspirants to the pharmacy course have to appear for Paper 2.

Aspirants seeking admission into Ayurveda, Veterinary, Siddha, and MBBS courses shall pass NEET UG and then apply for KEAM 2025.

Aspirants of BArch course have to pass NATA of CoA and then apply for KEAM 2025.

Who can take up KEAM 2025 registration?

Candidates who have passed plus-two from a recognized educational institution can take up KEAM 2025 registration. It is nothing but applying for the exam.

Subjects in the plus-two must be from the science stream, engineering aspirants have to pass plus-two with maths, physics, and chemistry as subjects.

Those targeting medical, and pharmacy courses have to pass plus-two with subjects such as biology, physics and chemistry. Students who are appearing for plus-two or who have appeared and are waiting for the results can also apply.

They have to, however, pass the exam and provide proof of it by the time of admission. The applicants must be a native of Kerala, and applicants coming under the non-Keralities category also can apply, provided they fulfil certain conditions.

How to take up KEAM 2025 registration?

The process to undertake KEAM 2025 registration is online. Candidates have to visit the official website of KEAM 2025 at ‘https://cee.kerala.gov.in/keamonline2025/’ to submit applications.

The URL mentioned earlier has to be typed into the browser and the webpage must be allowed to download. Once the webpage is downloaded, candidates can read the information about the exam and then click the link for KEAM 2023 registration and create an account comprising a username and password.

Post account creation, candidates can log in and fill out the application form, pay the registration fees and then submit the application form.

KEAM 2025 registration start date

Students who pass KEAM with the required qualifying marks can apply for counselling where they choose the college and course. Those who get the seat can pay the fees and join the course.

The process associated with the counselling will be informed on the official website at the appropriate time, the time for the process to start would be after the declaration of results for KEAM. Students who have passed the test with the required qualifying marks can visit the official websites periodically for updates.
