GATE 2022 registration began on August 30 and candidates can visit the official website of the exam to register. IIT Kharagpur will be conducting the popular exam for 2022. The last date GATE 2022 registration is September 24. Applicants can take up GATE 2022 registration without paying the late fee till September 24. If candidates are willing to pay the late fee, the applications can be submitted till October 1.

The news came out long ago that GATE 2022 registration process would commence on 30 August.

Applicants who want to take up GATE 2022 registration should visit the official website ‘gate.iitkgp.ac.in’ and click the appropriate link.

Soon after the webpage downloads on clicking the above said url, candidates have to choose the appropriate link for registration and start registering to obtain username and password.

The link for GATE 2022 registration will be seen on the website at right side top corner with the title ‘APPLY ONLINE’ The button will be located below the title ‘GATE 2022 ONLINE APPLICATION’

Applicants can click ‘APPLY ONLINE’ and take up the registration to obtain username and password.

Post obtaining username and password, applicants can login with help of them and start GATE 2022 registration.

Individuals have to fill the application form with the required information, upload the needed documents, pay the registration fee and submit the application form.

The fee to be paid during GATE 2022 registration is of two types – fee for regular period (30 August 2021 to 24 September 2021) and Extended period (25 September 2021 to 1 October 2021).

The same for candidates from SC/ST/PwD category candidates per paper is Rs 750.

For all other candidates it is Rs 1500 per paper.

The fee for GATE 2022 registration for female candidates is Rs 1250 per paper.

For all other candidates it is Rs 2000 per paper.

The application fee for foreign/NRI persons if Rs 1500 per paper during the regular period (30 Aug 2021 to 24 Sept 2021) and Rs 2000 per paper during the extended period (25 Sept to 1st Oct 2021).
