In 2022, NIT broke a record by achieving an overall placement rate of 110%. It is important to mention that prior to Aditi Tiwari’s record-breaking package, the largest package won by a student at NIT Patna was between Rs 50-70 lakhs.

Previously, NIT Tiruchirapalli had the highest salary on the list of NITs, coming in at INR 70 LPA, followed by NIT Calicut, which had a salary of INR 50 LPA. The standards have been raised above and beyond by NIT Patna’s new record.

NIT at  Patna, founded in 1886, is a top engineering school in India. The institution has routinely placed 85-90% of its graduates.
