The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is expected to issue the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) December 2024 score card soon for all qualified candidates. The FMGE score card was scheduled to be issued on or after January 27, however, it has not yet been uploaded on the official website, natboard.edu.in.
A total of 13,149 candidates qualified the exam out of the 44,390 who appeared for the exam. Altogether, 31,236 candidates were declared failed. Qualified candidates will be given pass certificates in-person after the identity and credential verification, the board said.
“The score card of FMGE December 2024 issued by NBEMS at its website can not be presented before a State Medical Council for the purpose of seeking registration,” it said.
As per the FMGE Dec results 2024, the result of seven candidates have been withheld. The results for such candidates is subject to outcome of “NBEMS Examination Ethics Committee/ Unfair Means Case/ Court Matter/ Security clearance from MHA, as may be applicable,” it added.
According to the passing marks, candidates must secure a minimum 150 marks of FMGE total marks 300 to be eligible to practice medicine in India. The pass certificate shall be issued within four weeks of declaration of the result, “however, due to unforeseen circumstances, this period may vary”.

Candidates can follow the below steps to download the FMGE December 2024 score card.
- Visit the NBE FMGE official website at natboard.edu.in or nbe.edu.in.
- On the home page, click the download link of FMGE December score card 2024.
- Input your FMGE user ID and password at the score card link provided.
- Score card for FMGE will be generated
- Now look for all details written on the result card and download the card.
