The recent developments only showed the scare regarding COVID-19 was still showing its impact.
The number of absentees at various exam centre were less than the usual numbers. Not many had attended the JEE Mains exam despite registering for the exam.
Now it remains to be seen if the same situation would prevail on the day NEET 2020 exam is to be conducted.

Kolkata Metrorail has also assured to run services to ensure NEET aspirants reach their exam centre. Students and their guardians can board the train showing their admit cards.
Meanwhile, former and current students of IITs have formed an online platform ‘EduRide to help poor and needy students to seek transport help to reach their exam centres.
Anna University exams
Another important Exams update 2020 is that final semester exams for various courses in Anna University will be held from 22 to 29 September.
Conducting of these exams is subject to obtaining approval. Authorities concerned say they are likely to get the approval soon.
Sources tracking Exams update 2020 said a circular released by the university had mentioned this point. The final semester exams will be held for graduate and post graduate courses during 22 to 29 September.
Sources familiar with this Exams update 2020 said the examination will be conducted online and will have objective type questions in the multiple choice format.

Multiple choice format will have questions with more than one reply and candidates have to choose the right one among the many replies.
Students will be able to appear for the exam from their homes with help of laptops, desktops, tablets or smartphones with internet connectivity, say sources familiar with Exams update 2020.
A mock test will also be conducted before the main exam to familiarise students with online exam format.

Another most important aspect related to Exams update 2020 is JEE Mains 2020 result.
National Testing Agency (NTA) which conducted the exam recently is likely to release the result soon.
