Exam time 2020: May and June, great month of exams in Ktka and Kerala

Exam time 2020 is making its mark in the two south Indian states of Kerala and Karnataka. While examinations in Kerala are to begin on 26 May (Tuesday), the same will happen in Karnataka in the month of June.

Exams in these two states have been postponed owing to corona virus outbreak in the past. Education departments of both these states are said to have been prepared for conducting the pending examinations for both 10th and 12th standard students.

Exam time 2020The exams for 10th standard (Secondary School Leaving Certificate, SSLC) and 11th and 12th standards (Higher Secondary School Certificate, HSSC) are expected to be a big affair in Kerala as over 10 lakh students are expected to take part in the exams.

Exam time 2020 is said to be commencing after obtaining the go ahead from the Centre. There will be strict norms in place in this Exam time 2020. Strict rules are owing to the corona virus outbreak.

Kerala Government is said to have procured more than 4000 infra red thermometers which will be used to screen students.

Many organisations have also come forward to contribute masks for students during this Exam time 2020. Students have to wear these masks while writing exams in Kerala.

Exam time 2020The Exam time though has arrived much earlier in both these two southern states, school examinations could not be conducted as per the schedule planned earlier.

The outbreak of corona virus had put a pullstop to the Exam time 2020 in Kerala and many exams had to be postponed.

With situation appearing to be returning to normalcy and also considering the importance of educations, state governments of Kerala and Karnataka are said to have geared up to conduct the exams.

A decision to conduct remaining plus-two and state board examinations is said to have been taken at a meeting held in the recent past.

Exam time 2020With this decision the bell for commencement of Exam time 2020 seems to have been rung in Kerala also popularly known as ‘Gods Own Country.’

Kerala will witness conducting 10th exam for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Similarly, Exam time 2020 in the same state will witness conducting of exams for plus-two in subjects of Mathematics, Political Science and Journalism.

The other plus-two subjects which will see conducting of examinations in Exam time 2020 are Business Studies, Psychology, Electronic Service Technology, Electronic Systems, Arts Stream (Main).

History, Islamic History and Culture, Computer Application, Home Science, Computer Science, Biology, Geology, Sanskrit Shastra, Electronics, Communicative English, Statistics, Part III languages and Literatue are also the plus-two subjects for which exams will be held during Exam time 2020.

Kerala will also conduct exams for plus-one students during Exam time 2020. Chemistry, Gandhian Studies, Anthropology, Economics, Literature, Physics, Philosophy are among the subjects for which plus-one exams will be held during Exam time 2020.

English literature, Sociology, Music, Accountancy, Geography, Social Work, Sanskrit Sahitya, Sankrit and Entrepreneurship Development (VHSE) are also the subjects for which plus-one exams will be conducted.

As per the time table regarding Exam time 2020 in Kerala the exams will begin from 26 May to 30 May. The exam timetable for plus-two and plus-one examinations of Kerala state board can be accessed at ‘http://www.dhsekerala.gov.in/downloads/circulars/1305200408_NEW.TIME.pdf’

The Kerala SSLC exams will be held from 26 to 28 May. Exam time 2020 will witness conducting of exams in forenoon and afternoon sessions.

The story is also similar with regards to Exam time 2020 in Karnataka. Here too exams were postponed due to outbreak of corona virus. However, Exam time 2020 is likely to arrive in June this year.

Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) will be held from 25 to 4 July. Like in Kerala, Exam time had arrived much earlier in Karnataka and exams were supposed to be held from 27 March onwards with regards to SSLC.

Karnataka will witness exams being conducted across more than 2,600 centres. There is enough focus on cleanliness. Students will be coming to the centres to write exams wearing masks.

Karnataka will also see conducting of PUC course exam for English on 18 June. Sources further say students who will miss exams being conducted in the present Exam time 2020 in Kerala can write Save a Year (SAY) exams which will be conducted later.

SAY exams are said to be conducted usually for those candidates who have not passed public exams. These are presently most challenging times
