Engineering education is always the most chosen one for many students of India and it must be the same for students of New Delhi and regions surrounding it.

Electronics and Communication Engineering continued to be the second most chosen course in Engineerig education for the students of New Delhi.

It was not surprising that Delhi still continues to be most preferred by engineering students. The other two destinations preferred by Delhi students are Noida and Greater Noida.
Sources further say, as per an estimation, about 30 percent of students from Delhi preferred Delhi as the place to undertake Engineering education in their chosen stream.
Delhi is popular when it comes to Engineering education not only among Delhites, but also among the students of Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh.
Every year some lakhs of students arrive at New Delhi to fulfill their dreams of obtaining high quality Engineering education, sources say. The students from these east and central Indian locations studying engineering in the national capital comprise more than 11 percent.
New Delhi is already an established hub for Engineering education as it is home for prestigious institutions like IIT Delhi, Delhi Technological University, Netaji Subhash University of Technology.
These institutions are names to reckon with when it comes to Engineering education. What proves this fact is the high rankings these institutions have secured.
IIT Delhi stands to be the top place when it comes to study engineering. IIT Delhi has second rank in NIRF 2020 rating.
The next popular spot for Engineering education is Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) which has a 27th rank in NIRF 2020 ratings.
Amity University in Noida is also a hub for Engineering education and its NIRF 2020 rank is 32. That is not all, another known name for Engineering education in the national capital is Delhi Technological University (DCE), its NIRF 2020 ranking is 36.
Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT Delhi) is also a known name in the field of engineering study. This institution has scored NIRF 2020 rank of 56.

Students from the national capital have wide choices of institutes from public stream across the nation to pursue Engineering education.
Some of high worth educational institutions for Engineering education are IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee and NIT Kurukshetra.
IIT Bombay has more than 800 seats, IIT Kharagpur has more than 2000 seats, IIT Roorkee has more than 1000 seats and NIT Kurukshetra has more than 900 seats.
Choices are still unlimited, even private colleges can be considered for engineering study.
Some of the private collegs in other parts of the nation which are worth considering for Engineering education for students from nationa capital are Lovely Professional University in Jalandhar with a NIRF rating of 125.
The others are BITS Pilani (Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani) with a NIRF rank of 25, TIET (Thapar Institute of Science and Technology) in Patiala with a NIRF rank of 23 and Chandigarh University in Chandigarh with a NIRF rank of 117.
