DRDO invites engineers and technicians

Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is inviting applications for apprentice vacancies. Candidates who are selected for the position will be engaged for a period of one year. DRDO has about 60 vacancies and are classified as ‘graduate apprentice’ and ‘technician apprentice’ and ‘trade apprentice.’

Going further, sources from DRDO say the graduate apprenticeship requires degree in aerospace engineering, computer science and engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering and mechanical engineering and stipend for this is Rs 9,000.

Qualifications for technician enterprise is diploma in computer science and engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, electronics and Communication engineering and mechanical engineering and stipend for the post is Rs 8,000. The qualification for trade apprenticeship is ITI in CNC programmer-cum-Operator, ITI in computer operator and programming assistance, ITI in electrician, ITI in Fibre Reinforced Plastics Processor and ITI in fitter and stipend is from Rs 7,700 to Rs 8,050.

Candidates willing to apply for Graduate and Technician (Diploma) Apprentices must have registered their names at ‘www.mhrdnats.gov.in’ And candidates for Trade Apprentices should have registered at ‘ncvtmis.gov.in‘ .
