Before the students go ahead with the admissions, they must check the eligibility criteria. If the students are not eligible for the course they are applying to, they should not go ahead with filling out the application forms. If they are not eligible, their forms will be straight away rejected. 

Below are listed the eligibility criteria for the different courses. 

B.Tech: The students must have passed their 12th Examination from a recognized board with a valid  MGREE / JEE Main score.

B.Arch: The students must have passed their 12th Examination from a recognized board with a valid  NATA Score.

BDS: The candidates must have passed B.Sc. Degree with a minimum of 60% marks from any recognised university. 

B.Sc: The candidates must have passed their HSC examinations from a recognised board with satisfactory marks. 

BBA: The students should have passed their 12th standard from a renowned board with 50% aggregate marks.

BCA: The students should have passed their 12th standards from a renowned board with 50% aggregate marks.

BPT: The students must have passed their HSC Examination (Academic Stream) of 10+2 curriculum / CBSE / ISC in English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Botany and Zoology as any of the main subjects. 

MBA: The candidates need to do their graduation from any renowned university with a minimum of 50% of marks.

M.Sc: The students should have passed their B.Sc in relevant subjects from any renowned university. 

MCA: The students must have passed their BCA programme from a renowned university with a minimum of 50% marks.

It is a short online form that the students have to fill out and submit online. The students need to pay Rs 1600/- as the application form fee for registration. If they are not paying the fee, their application forms are not getting submitted and they will not be valid. The students must complete their form by paying the application fee. Entrance Exam: There are a few courses for which candidates need to appear for the Entrance Exam for admission such as B.Tech, B.Arch, Dental & Medical, etc. The Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria and qualify for the entrance exam shall be granted admission to Dr MGR University.
