The last date to take up CSIR UGC NET 2023 registration was 10 April 2023.
The date mentioned above was according to an earlier schedule.
Now that has been changed with the motive of ensuring a larger participation.
The correction window was to be kept open from 12 to 18 April 2023.
As per the new schedule, the correction window will be kept open from 19 to 25 April 2023.
Students who have successfully completed CSIR UGC NET 2023 registration can take up corrections when the correction window is open.
Applicants must remember that there is no change in the exam date.
The written test will be conducted from 6 to 8 June 2023 as mentioned previously.
What is CSIR UGC NET 2023?
The full name of the exam is the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test which is abbreviated as CSIR UGC NET.
It is a national-level exam conducted two times a year.
It is for candidates who wish to take up research (Junior Research Fellowship) in science subjects.
Those desiring to become assistant professors (job of lectureship) in science subjects can also apply.
The exam is conducted online and answers have to be registered on a computer screen.
The exam must be written at the designated test centers which will be located across India.
The questions from the subjects – Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences.
Questions will be in a multiple-choice format where each question has more than one reply and the right one among that has to be chosen to get marks.
Who can take up CSIR UGC NET 2023 registration?
The eligibility to take up CSIR UGC NET 2023 registration is a pass in MSc or equivalent degree integrated BS-MS, BS-4years, BE, B.Tech, B.Pharma, and MBBS.
The pass marks in the subjects should be at least 55% marks for General(UR)/General-EWS category applicants.
Same for OBC (NCL)/SC/ST category candidates must be 50%.
Applicants who have studied B.Sc. (Hons.) or equivalent or are enrolled in an integrated MS-PhD program can also take up CSIR UGC NET 2023 registration.

The website has to be allowed to download.
Once the webpage is available, applicants have to click the required link for registration.
Registration is to be done to obtain an account with a username and password.
Once the registration is done, applicants must log in with their username and password.
The application form has to be filled out and submitted.
Post submission, candidates can obtain a confirmation message indicating successful submission.
Once obtained, applicants can download it and take a printout of it.
How to download the hall ticket
Students who have successfully completed the process of CSIR UGC NET 2023 registration alone can download hall tickets.
The process to download admit cards is online, candidates have to visit the official website.

Above mentioned URL can be typed into the browser and then the webpage is to be allowed to download.
Once the website is available, candidates can click the link for admit card.
They have to enter their roll number, application number and other information. The information must be submitted to view the admit card.
The admit card can be downloaded and a printout can be taken.

And, download the hall ticket for the exam.
