CGC Jhanjeri: Know about the great engineering there

The full name of the institution is Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) and is located at Jhanjheri in Punjab. The organization is also popularly known as CGC Jhanjeri. The innings of this organization began in 2012.

Who can apply?

Students who have passed plus-two from a recognized educational institution in the science stream with mathematics, physics and chemistry as subjects can apply for the engineering (regular) courses at CGC Jhanjheri.

Applicants for engineering courses in the lateral entry must have passed a diploma programme in engineering from the Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET, Longowal) or the Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh, or who have passed a comparable exam from another state board of technical education that is regarded as valid.

How to apply?

Online

Candidates have to visit the official website to submit applications. CGC Jhanjeri issues notifications during admission time every year. Applications can be submitted after the release of notification.

Candidates have to visit the official website at ‘https://admissions.cgc.ac.in/’ after the release of notification and click the link for registration and create an account comprising a username and password.

Once the account is created, candidates can log in and fill out the form and attach the required documents and then pay the registration form and submit it. The applications received will be analyzed and shortlisted candidates can take part in the further admission process.

Offline

Students have to visit the CGC Jhanjeri in person and obtain the application form. The form has to be filled out and submitted to the institution with the required documents.

Candidates can bring the application form to their home and fill it and send it to the institution through post or courier. The applications received will be analyzed and shortlisted candidates can take part in the further admission process.
