CEED 2025 Application submission with late fee is on till 18 November 2024 at ‘https://www.ceed.iitb.ac.in/2025/’ Registration started on 1 October 2024.
Registration with payment of late fee commenced from 1 November 2024 and was on till 8 November 2024 initially, now it is extended till 18 November 2024.
Candidates interested in studying M Des – masters in design or pursuing doctorate in design can take up CEED 2025 Application. There is more to it than meets the eye.
Exam will be conducted on 19 January 2025 from 9 AM to 12 PM. The duration of the exam is three hours. Candidates have to answer the questions in three hours time.
Results for the exam will be declared on 5 March 2025, those who have passed the exam with the required score (qualifying marks) can apply for admissions in the participating institutions.
Participating institutions
Candidates who submit CEED 2025 Application and pass the exam with required qualifying marks can apply in these participating institutions – IIT Bombay (IDC School of Design).
The other participating institutions are IIT Delhi (Department of Design), IIT Guwahati (Department of Design), IIT Hyderabad (Department of Design), IIT Jodhpur (Department of Design), IIT Kanpur (Design Programme), IIT Roorkee (Department of Design).
IIITDM Jabalpur (Design Discipline), IIITDM Kancheepuram (School of Interdisciplinary Design and Innovation) are also the participating institutions.
Mahindra University, Hyderabad is the CEED 2025 result sharing institute.
After the results, candidates can begin visiting the websites of the participating institutions to know the schedule and then submit applications for admission.
About the exam
CEED is known as Common Entrance Exam for Design, it is a national level exam and is being conducted by IIT Bombay. It is conducted once every year and CEED 2025 is meant admission into post graduate or doctorate courses in the field of design.
The exam has two parts – Part A and Part B. Part A is a computer based test and answers have to be recorded on a computer screen at the test center.
Duration to answer questions in Part A is one hour and total score for this is 150. Part B is a test for two hours, where the total marks are 100.
Questions will be asked on a computer screen and candidates have to put a tick in the box meant for it against each question and write answers for them in a separate booklet provided at the test center.
Who can submit CEED 2025 Application?
Candidates who have passed graduation in any discipline can submit CEED 2025 application. The applicants can preferably be graduates in Design (B Des), though not compulsory.
Even those who are appearing for their final degree exam can submit CEED 2025 application. Students who have appeared and are waiting for their final exam results can also submit CEED 2025 application.
However, they have to pass the qualifying exam and provide a proof for it by the time of admission.
How to submit CEED 2025 Application?
The process to submit CEED 2025 application is online and it can be done on the official website of the exam ‘https://www.ceed.iitb.ac.in/2025/’
1. The URL mentioned above has to be typed into the browser and then submitted to allow the website to download.
2. Once the website is ready, candidates have click INFORMATION BROCHURE button to know everything about the exam and CEED 2025 application submission process.
3. They can click REGISTRATION PORTAL to submit CEED 2025 application.
4. Clicking the above button will open another webpage with URL ‘https://ceedapp.iitb.ac.in/CEED/home.jsp’
5. Once the webpage with above URL opens, candidates can click REGISTER to create an account with username and password.
6. After creating an account, they can comeback to the webpage with URL ‘https://ceedapp.iitb.ac.in/CEED/home.jsp’ and click LOGIN located next to REGISTER.
7. After login, candidates can start filling the CEED 2025 application.
- Candidates have to visit the official website ‘https://www.ceed.iitb.ac.in/2025/’
- At the website, they have to click the link for downloading admit card.
- After clicking the link, they can enter the details like application number, date of birth and submit them to view the hall ticket.
- Once the hall ticket is visible, they can download it and take a printout.
