CCMT 2021: Registration open till great 28 June

CCMT 2021 process is going on and students who passed GATE exam and are willing to study PG courses in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs can apply till 28 June.
CCMT 2021 is the common platform through which applicants can apply to study postgraduation courses in engineering, architecture and planning.


MTech (engineering), MArch (architecture) and MPlan (planning) are offered in NITs (National Institutes of Technology), IIITs (Indian Institutes of Information Technology) and GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutes).

Students who have passed GATE exam in 2019, 2020 or 2021 can visit the official website of CCMT 2021 and apply for postgraduation in NITs, IIITs or GFTIs.
About CCMT
CCMT 2021 is expanded into Centralised Counseling for MTech/MArch/MPlan 2021. Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) which is located in Jaipur is organising CCMT 2021.

Eligibility
Applicants who have completed bachelors in engineering, architecture and planning can apply for admission through CCMT 2021.
The pass percentage in the qualifying exam must be 60 or they must be having a 6.5 CGPA on 10 point scale.
Individuals must have also passed GATE exam of 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Point to remember
SC/ST/PwD category candidates must have passed their qualifying exam with 55 percent marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale.

The procedure to apply for CCMT 2021 is online.

Post webpage downloads upon clicking the above link, applicants have to scroll down and click the button ‘Online Registration and Choice Filling’ and start registration to obtain username and password.

Applicants can login with the help of username and password they obtained during registation and start applying for the course they wish to study.
They can provide the required information, upload the needed documents, pay the registration fee and submit the application form.

Student who gets the seat has to pay the seat acceptance fee, upload documents, submit willingness to join and go through online document verification.
Point to remember
Applicants who could not get a seat in the regular round of counselling can take part in the two special rounds of counselling which will be held later.
The counselling process of special rounds will also consist the process followed in regular rounds of counseling.

However, there is a difference, instead of deposition of seat acceptance fee after allotment of seat, the candidate will be required to deposit the participation fee at the time of registration itself.
The registration fee
Candidates who will be taking part in the regular counselling round in CCMT 2021 have to pay Rs 3000 if they come from General category.
The fees is the same if applicants are from OBC or EWS (General) categories.
SC/ST/PwD category candidates can pay the registration fee of Rs 2,500 for the regular rounds of counselling.

Point to remember
Applicants who are selected for a seat in the regular rounds of counselling through CCMT 2021 platform have to pay an acceptance fee of Rs 30,000 if they are from General, General (EWS) and OBC categories
The same for SC/ST/PwD category candidates is Rs 10,000.
Applicants taking part in special rounds of counselling through CCMT 2021 platform have to pay a participation fee of Rs 40,000 if they are from General, General (EWS) and OBC categories.
The same for SC/ST/PwD category candidates is Rs 10,000.
