CBSE Compartment exam to start from great September 22
CBSE Compartment exam for classes 10th and 12th standards will start from September 22.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) also has released the exam schedule in this regard on Friday.
On the other hand, CBSE Compartment exam for 12th class students will taken place on September 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 28 and 29.
Apart from CBSE Compartment exam, practical exams will also be conducted for the students who have failed in the practical.
Sources from CBSE remind that students who have passed the practical but have failed in theory can focus only on theory exams and need not worry about practicals.
CBSE Compartment exam to start from great September 22
Practical exams for regular candidates will be held in the schools where the candidate studied, say sources from CBSE.
Examination for private candidate will be conducted at the theory examination centre unless otherwise notified.
Private candidates can contact the prinicipals of the school of their theory examination centre to know about the date and time for the practical exam before their theory exam is over.
Sources say the practical exams must be completed before September 28. CBSE Compartment exam will begin by 10 am during the days meant for them.
Students must be there at the exam centre atleast one hour before the commencement of the examination. They can enter into the exam hall a little before 10 am.
Question paper and answer booklets will be distributed from 10 to 10.15 am. They can begin writing by 10:30 am. Students can check the question paper for any errors before commencing writing.

CBSE further says candidates appearing for the CBSE Compartment exam have to follow safety norms. Parents must ensure that their children are not sick before attending the CBSE Compartment exam.
Students coming for the CBSE Compartment exam must get their own hand sanitizers and water bottles. Both must be transparent. Also, candidates must cover their nose and mouth with mask.
Exam petition
It is interesting to note that Supreme Court also has issued notice to CBSE with regards to conducting of CBSE Compartment exams in response to a petitions filed by students.
Students filed the petition seeking cancellation of CBSE Compartment exam. Students were led by Anika Samvedi.
A three judge bench under the leadership of Justice A.M. Khanwilkar issued a notice in connection with the petition.
And, directed CBSE to file its response by September 7. The matter is posted for hearing on September 10.
