The dates

Class 10

The timings for the board exams are 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The last day for the class 10 exam is 13 March 2024 and subjects on that day are Computer Applications, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence.

Class 12

As per the CBSE Class 10 and 12 Exams 2024 schedule, board exams for 12th class would also begin on 15 February 2023 with subjects – Entrepreneurship, Kokborok, Capital Market Operation and Physical Activity Trainer.

The timings for few subjects are 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, while exams for certain other subjects will be conducted from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM during the exam days.

Board exams will conclude on 2 April 2024 with subjects – Informatics Practices, Computer Science and Information Technology. As the schedule of CBSE Class 10 and 12 Exams 2024 are available, students can start preparing for the exams.

The numbers

A total of 21,84,117 students registered for class 10 exams in 2023. Over 21,65,805 students appeared for the exams and 20,16,779 cleared the exam.

Pass percentage class 10 board exams in 2023 stood at 93.12. A total of 16,80,256 students applied for class 12 board exams in CBSE stream in 2023.

About 16,60,511 students appeared for the exams and 14,50,174 passed the class 12 exams in the CBSE stream in 2023, the pass percentage was 87.33.

Students who have passed JEE Advanced 2025 with required qualifying marks can take up AAT 2025 registration. Applying for JEE Advanced requires a pass in JEE Mains.

5. They will receive message indicating successful completion of JEE Advanced AAT 2025 registration.

Exam pattern

Candidates who have completed JEE Advanced AAT 2025 registration must also know the exam pattern if they are to score good marks.

Those who have taken up AAT 2025 registration can take up the exam which will be held in offline mode, as a pen and paper mode test.

Candidates will have three hours time to answer all the questions. The medium of the test is English.

Freehand Drawing

Three dimension perception

Understanding and appreciation of three-dimensional forms with building elements, colour, volume and orientation. Visualization through structuring objects in memory.

Architectural Awareness

General interest and awareness of famous architectural creations – both national and international, places and personalities (architects, designers, etc.) in the related domain.

Imagination and Aesthetic Sensitivity

Composition exercise with given elements. Context mapping.

Creativity check through innovative uncommon test with familiar objects. Sense of colour grouping or application.
