The CBSE date sheet 2025 declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education is now available on its official website, cbse.gov.in. CBSE Class 10 and 12 board examinations will start on February 15, 2025. This year, nearly 44 lakh students will take the CBSE board exams in 2025.

Recently, the board clarified that it has neither reduced the CBSE syllabus 2024-25 nor increased the weightage of the internal assessment system for the upcoming board exams. The clarification came after some media reports suggested changes in the board exam pattern.

CBSE Board Exam Date 2025 Released

Earlier, the board had announced the CBSE practical exam dates 2025. Class 10, 12 CBSE practical exams 2025 will be conducted from January 1. The winter-bound schools have already started conducting the practicals which will continue till December 5.

Besides, 75% attendance is compulsory for students to be eligible for attending CBSE 1012th board exams 2025. For the first time, CBSE has incorporated CCTV policy in the board exams 2025 for Class 10, and 12 and made it compulsory for schools that are designated as exam centres.

About The Exam

The full name of the exam is Symbiosis Law Admission Test and is popularly known as SLAT.

This is an institutional level exam which is conducted once a year and students who pass this exam can apply to study BA LLB, BBA LLB, BA LLB Hons and BBA LLB Hons in Symbiosis Law Schools.

Test will be conducted as a computer based test – questions have to answered on a computer screen at the designated test center. The duration to answer the questions is one hour or 60 minutes.

Applicants should have passed the qualifying exam from a recognized educational institution with a minimum of 45% marks, if they are from General Category.
