CBSE 10th result 2020 is the talk of the town now as sources point out that the result will be declared on 15 July.
It was only yesterday (13 June) that the result of 12th class board exam was made public and a pass percentage of over 88 was recorded. The same enthusiasm is expected with regards to CBSE 10th result 2020.

This year often stood unique with regards to education sector. Unlike last year, this year though the board exams for CBSE 10th and 12th class exams began as usual, they could not be conducted smoothly.
Both 10th exams and 12th exams got halted on two occasions. The first time exams had to be stopped owing to protests witnessed with regards to CAA.
Though exams got started after that, they had to come to a halt soon owing to corona virus outbreak. This only meant even result would be delayed.
Last year, CBSE 10th result was declared in May. This year it did not happen. CBSE 10th result 2020 is being declard on 15 July, which is almost three months later.
Earlier, news did rounds that CBSE 10th result 2020 will be declared on 14 July. CBSE sources later said that results will not be made public on 14 July.

As per the sources, this year about 18,89,878 students are said to have appeared for CBSE 10th exams, out of these, 7,88,195 were girls and about 11,01,664 were boys.
CBSE had arranged 5376 exam centres this year for 10th board exams. But as said earlier, things did not proceed as per the plans.
Dates of 10th exams were cancelled, but later on they were announced. However no exams took place as the lockdown left no room for it. This made students and parent anxious with regards to CBSE 10th result 2020.
Meanwhile, many parents and students began criticising the idea of conducting exams for 10th standard. Ultimately they were cancelled after witnessing much criticism.
How will be result be given? Marks will be provided based on average of the best three subjects in which student has already appeared.
If the student has appeared for only three papers, assessment will be based on the best of two. For all those who sat in one or two exams will be getting marks based on their internal exams at schools or the practicals.
How can CBSE 10th result 2020 be known. The result will be available on the official website ‘cbseresults.nic.in’ Soon after the website downloads, students must click the appropriate link there.
Soon after that CBSE 10th result 2020 will appear on the screen. Students can take a printout and keep it for future use.
The printout can be used as a provisional marksheet till the original one is obtained. The other websites to know CBSE 10th result 2020 are ‘results.nic.in’ and ‘results.gov.in’
Sources further say, CBSE 10th result 2020 can also be known through mobile apps.
Applicants have to download Digilocker App and create and ID to download their marksheets. The app can be downloaded also from the website ‘digilocker.gov.in’
Students will get the credentials to their SMS on their mobile. Using the credentials candidates can know CBSE 10th result 2020.

However, the sources say, the meritlist and list of toppers with regards to CBSE 10th result 2020 is not likely to be released this year as the assessment was done using the new method.
