CBSE 10th 12th Exams 2020: Excellent, decision on dates in 2 days
CBSE 10th 12th Exams 2020, the exam dates for CBSE 10th 12th Exams are to be announced soon. Union Minister for Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said things were ready and announcement of new dates with regards to CBSE 10th 12th Exams 2020 will be made with in a day or two.
He said this at a webinar held on Tuesday (5 May). Parents and students are said to have taken part in this event. This was supposed to be held on 2 May has been postponed as was held on 5 May.
CBSE 10th 12th Exams 2020 had to be postponed particularly in certain areas of national capital. Though the dates were announced soon after the protest came to an end, exams still could not be conducted owing to Corona virus outbreak.
Curiosity went up to great levels since then. Parents, students and teachers were all eager to know when the new dates for the exams will be conducted.
The curiosity levels with regards to CBSE 10th 12th Exams 2020 is only natural as a pass in them will allow students to move towards higher education. Union Minister Nishank assured students that all measures will be taken towards conducting CBSE 10th 12th Exams.
‘They (students) need not worry over the exams, everything will be done to ensure that no problems are caused.’ Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) would be conducting the pending board exams for 29 papers.’
The new dates for CBSE 10th 12th Exams 2020 will likely be announced in two days, said Union Minister. This announcement has brought relief for students who have been looking towards announcements in this regards, says T. Charumathi, maths teacher for plus-two.
CBSE has been releasing notifications at regular intervals with regards to CBSE 10th 12th Exams 2020. Recently it has released a Frequently Asked Questions list which is still available on its official website ‘http://cbse.nic.in/newsite/index.html’
The organisation has even said CBSE 10th 12th Exams 2020 will not be held in schools located abroad and affiliated to it.
As under the present circumstances conducting exams abroad and bringing the answer papers to India for evaluation would not be possible. Added to this, CBSE is said to be prepared to conduct exams with a period of 10 to 15 days soon after the lock down comes to an end.
As far as CBSE 10th 12th Exams 2020 are concerned, CBSE is said to have decided to conduct exams for 29 major papers instead of 41 pending papers for Classes 10 and 12.
Exams will be held for six class 10 subjects for students of north-east Delhi and 12 subjects for students of class 12 located across the country and 11 for north-east Delhi based 12th students.
CBSE is also said to be gearing to conduct evaluation process with regards to answer sheets of CBSE 10th 12th Exams 2020. This will help declared the results faster.
M.R. Ananthakrishnan, a Physics teacher also feels the need to conduct CBSE 10th 12th Exams 2020 as soon as possible. These exams are important in student’s life.
‘The exam of 12th has more relevance, a pass in that is required to attend NEET or JEE Mains which are gateways to higher education.’ There has to be a clarity on these, he says.
According to sources, over 29 lakh students are said to have applied for CBSE 10th 12th Exams 2020. While conducting these exams in the previous years was a smooth sailing affair, this was not the case during the present year.

CBSE has earlier said the dates would be fixed and would be announced in a way that students could get ample time to prepare for the pending subjects.
The dates for CBSE 10th 12th Exams 2020 would be announced well in advance, however, experts caution the students from slipping into laxity. They have to be cautious and continue to prepare for the exams with well planned study schedules, says Ananthakrishnan.
