Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has commenced the application submission process and those interested in teachers’ jobs can submit applications till 12 July 2023.

Vacancies

A notification in connection with this BPSC Recruitment 2023 says there are a total of 1,70,461 vacancies. They are 79, 943 vacancies for the post of primary teachers.

The same for middle school teachers is Rs 31,000 per month and the pay package for high school teachers is Rs 32,000 per month. Other allowances will also be provided.

Who can apply for BPSC Recruitment 2023?

Candidates who wish to apply for this BPSC Recruitment 2023 have to be a citizen of India and a native of Bihar state.

The aspirants for this BPSC Recruitment 2023 must have passed graduation in the relevant discipline from a recognized educational institution with a minimum pass percentage of 55%.

They should also have passed BEd or Diploma in Education or their equivalent from a recognized educational institution. More details about the eligibility criteria will be available in the notification which can be accessed here.

1. The application submission website is ‘https://www.bpsc.bih.nic.in/’ The URL has to be typed into the browser and the webpage has to be allowed to download.

2. Once it is ready, the candidates have to click the link of the vacancy which will provide all the information about this vacancy.

3. After obtaining the information, they have to click the link Apply Online which will open another webpage with the URL ‘https://bpsc.bih.nic.in/Application.htm’

4. Candidates should click the common link on the webpage with above URL. This will open the page for application whose URL is ‘https://onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in/’ or ‘https://onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in/main/home’

5. Once the webpage with the above URL opens up, they have to choose the link for the teacher’s job and start the registration process.

6. After the registration is over and a user account is created, candidates can log in and fill out the application form for this BPSC Recruitment 2023.

Registration fee

The BPSC Recruitment 2023 registration fee to be paid is Rs 750 for General category candidates. The same for SC/ST category candidates is Rs 200.

BPSC Recruitment 2023 registration fee for women candidates is Rs 200 and for PwD candidates is also Rs 200.

The results for the test will likely be announced in December. Candidates who pass the test will be called for an interview.

Selection in this BPSC Recruitment 2023 will be done based on performance in the written test, qualifying exam and interview.

Candidates who are selected can join the job as per the instructions from the authorities concerned.

BITS Pilani signed an agreement with the Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT) in Pune, on December 4. The areas of knowledge-sharing activities undertaken include workshops, seminars, and conferences to be conducted on national security fields, according to a statement from BITS Pilani.

The BITS Pilani statement also says that joint research work will be an area of focus for this collaboration. The Center for Research Excellence in National Security (CRENS) established at the BITS Pilani will facilitate the partnership.

Both institutes will also undertake research projects including short-term consultancy assignments to deal with industry issues and long-term initiatives to explore emerging and future areas. The collaborations will include the usage of lab infrastructures, faculty members, and research scholars.

BITS Pilani vice chancellor Ramgopal Rao was critical of the tie-up and stated: “Our partnership with DIAT Pune reflects a shared vision that through research and innovation, we can synergistically elevate the defence capability of India and give a technological push to India. Through CRENS we intend to address the veritable challenges and bring about self-reliance in the strategic sectors.
