The BITS Admission Test (BITSAT) 2024 is presently being administered by the Birla Institute of Science and Technology (BITS) Pilani to applicants seeking to enrol in its combined BE, BPharm, and MSc programmes. The third day of the BITSAT Session 1 exam is now taking place on May 22, 2024, with the first shift starting at 9 am. Birla Institute of Science and Technology Pilani (BITS Pilani) is holding the third day of the BITS Admission Test (BITSAT 2024) today, May 22, for applicants applying to integrated BE, BPharm, and MSc programmes. Shift 1 commenced at 9 a.m. Candidates must bring the BITSAT session 1 admit card 2024, downloaded from bitsadmission.com, to the exam centre for verification.

The entrance exam for BITS admissions programmes at the Pilani Campus, KK Birla Goa Campus, and Hyderabad Campus will be conducted using a computer-based examination (CBT). The exam will last three hours, without a break.

The BITSAT 2024 question paper will be divided into four sections: physics, chemistry, English proficiency and logical thinking, and mathematics or biology for BPharm students. The exam will be held in two shifts: shift one will begin at 9 a.m. and end at noon, and shift two will run from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. According to the BITSAT exam dates 2024, session 1 will end on May 24.

BITSAT 2024 Exam Pattern and Guidelines

The BITSAT entrance exam pattern and guidelines to attempt questions are as follows.

• There will be no time limit for individual sections in the question paper. Candidates will be allowed to go back and forth between the 130 questions within the allotted time of three hours.
• If a candidate answers all the 130 questions without skipping any question, they will get an option of attempting 12 extra questions, if there is still time left.
• These extra questions will be asked from all sections except the English language. Three questions from each section will be asked.
• Candidates should note that once they opt for extra questions, they will not be allowed to make corrections to any of the earlier answered questions.
• As per the marking scheme, there will be negative markings for each incorrect answer.
