The last date to apply for the exam was earlier 29 May and now that has been extended to enable more people to apply for the exam.

The test which was to be held from 24 to 29 June will now be held during July to August.

Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani conducts this exam to provide admission into various courses offered by it at its campuses situated in Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad.

The programmes
BITSAT 2021 exam scores will be used to provide admission into integrated first degree programmes of engineering (BE) and pharmacy (BPharmacy), MSc in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Economics, Mathematics, Physics and General Studies.

The engineering courses are offered in Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Manufacturing.

Eligibility
The eligibility criteria to apply for BITSAT 2021 exam depends on the course the students desires to seek admission into.

All programmes except BPharmacy
Candidates targeting admissions into various programmes except BPharmacy through this BITSAT 2021 exam must be a pass in 12th class with physics, chemistry, maths and english as subjects.

BPharmacy
Applicants targeting BPharmacy admission through BITSAT 2021 exam must have passed plus-two with chemistry, physics, biology and english as subjects.

Point to remember
However, candidates with PCM may also apply for Pharmacy program.

Candidates must have 75 percent pass marks totally in the subjects of plus-two.

The passmarks in each subject must be atleast 60 percent.

Only Students who are appearing for 12th examination in 2021 or who have passed 12th examination in 2020 are eligible to appear in the BITSAT 2021 exam.

Exam pattern
BITSAT 2021 exam will be of three hour duration without a break and will have four parts.

Part 1 is Physics, Part 2 is Chemistry, Part 3 is English proficiency and Logical Reasoning and Part 4 is Mathematics or Biology.

Biology is for those who wish to study BPharmacy.

All questions are of objective type and in multiple choice format.

Each question has a choice of four answers, only one being correct choice.

Each correct answer fetches 3 marks, while each incorrect answer has a penalty of deduction of one mark.

Marks will not be deducted for questions left unanswered.

Candidates may refer to the NCERT textbooks for the contents.

A sample test demonstrating the features of BITSAT 2021 exam will be made available to the registered candidates at the BITS admission website on which he/she can practice as many times as desired.

Admission
As explained earlier, a candidate who appears in BITSAT-2021 is eligible for admission only if he/she gets the required minimum marks in the Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology subjects of 12th examination as per the eligibility criteria.

All candidates who appear in BITSAT 2021 exam and are interested in admission will be required to submit Admission Application Form with 12th marks and preferences to different degree programmes offered at various campuses.

Applicants for BITSAT 2021 exam must visit the official website at ‘https://www.bitsadmission.com/’

Soon after the page downloads, they can scroll it down and find the button ‘Click Here’ to register for BITSAT 2021 exam.

The portion ‘Click Here’ in bold red colour can be pressed.

When the new webpage opens, applicants can read the instructions and scroll down the page and click ‘Allow me to Apply Online’

Candidates can click ‘Allow me to Apply online,’ when the new page opens up, applicants have to press ‘New Registration’ button and begin registration.

Post registration and obtaining username and password, applicants can login and start applying for BITSAT 2021 exam.

After filling all the required information in the application form, students have to upload their photograph which must 50 to 100 kb in size.

Post uploading photograph, candidates must upload the scanned image of their signature which must be of 10 to 50 kb in size.

Applicants after uploading the images have to pay the registration fee and submit the application.

Applicants (male and female) who choose to write BITSAT 2021 exam in Dubai have to pay Rs 7000 as registration fee.

Important dates
The last date to apply for BITSAT 2021 exam is 5 pm of June 30.

The exam will be tentatively conducted in July or August. The new dates for the exam could be announced in due course.

The halltickets for BITSAT 2021 exam were to be made available for download from June 12 onwards.

There could be a change in this date also as the last date to submit applications has been changed to June 30.

The application for admissions into BITS are to be submitted from June 29 to July 25 as per the actual schedule.

The registration is currently for the second phase of admissions in Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology which is also know as KIIT.

This is an institutional level exam and is conducted online mode, where questions have to be answered on a computer screen.

The test is also conducted on remote proctored mode, where candidates can take the examination on a computer from any location.

Questions in the exam would depend on the subject the candidate is trying to seek admission through the exam. For graduate admission questions are related to academic subjects taught in class 12.

For post graduate courses, questions in the entrance exam will be related to the graduation lessons of the respective subject in which candidate desires to pursue post graduation.
