ASEAN-India Start-up Festival 2024: Showcasing Innovation and Collaboration
The festival will focus on deep-tech and sustainable innovations, with solutions coming from 60 Indian startups and 40 ASEAN startups.
The Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre at IIT Kanpur will host the ASEAN-India Start-up Festival 2024. Organized in association with the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, and the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade.
An event starting from November 28 to November 30, 2024, at Vivanta Taj, an innovation festival that will gather entrepreneurs and innovators from India and the 10 ASEAN countries for cross-border collaborations that boost innovation and entrepreneurship said an IIT Kanpur statement. It will showcase deep-tech innovations, and sustainable innovations and highlight solutions from 60 Indian startups and 40 ASEAN startups.

According to the IIT Kanpur statement, many prominent dignitaries, including Jitendra Singh minister of science and technology, government of India; Abhay Karandikar secretary of DST; Manindra Agrawal director of IIT Kanpur, and also other high ranking governmental officials and industry majors will grace the event.
Three-day ASEAN India Start-up Festival 2024
The three-day program would feature seminars, startup exhibitions, pitch competitions, and networking events, the activities of which are to enhance B2B and G2G collaborations in order to further deepen innovation-driven economic ties. “The event would conclude with industry visits to organizations in the Delhi-NCR region, where participants could explore India’s innovation ecosystem, an IIT Kanpur statement added.”.
