Apply for NZ commonwealth scholarships here

Applications are being invited from Indians residing in India currently for New Zealand Commonwealth Scholarships 2020 which are provided by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT), Government of New Zealand. The scholarships are being offered to study masters and doctoral courses.
Candidates who are interested in applying for the scholarship can visit the Sakshat portal of Ministry of Human Resources of Government of India and apply. The link to reach Sakshat portal is ‘http://proposal.sakshat.ac.in/scholarship/’ The last date to apply for the scholarhip is 15 April. The scholarships are being offered for various subjects which are broadly based on two themes namely ‘climate change’ and ‘resilience and good governance.’

Priority for nomination will be given to candidates who have finished their last qualifying exam institutes of national importance, central universities or NAAC accredited educational institutions.
Marks obtained therein would be used as a tie-break in making nominations. Gender Balance will also be a consideration in final nomination decision. Applicants must also submit copies of all academic transcripts like Class X Pass Certificate and Marksheet, Class XII Pass Certificate and Marksheet, Bachelor’s Degree Certificate and Transcripts. Master’s Degree Certificate and Transcripts. Ph.D. Degree certificate and Transcripts along with the application form.

No formal offer of admission from any New Zealand University is required at the time of applying.

Candidates are advised not to use camscanner app for scanning their application form and supporting documents. All files to be submitted/uploaded must be of pdf file extension (jpeg/jpg etc.) are not allowed). Size of the application form and other supporting documents to be uploaded on Sakshat Portal must be below 750 Kb. Queries via email may also be sent to this email ID.
