Applications invited for KEAM 2020 – There is another development worth noting for students willing to seek admission into higher education courses. Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has invited applications for admission into engineering, architecture, pharmacy, medical, medical allied courses for 2020.

MBBS, BDS, BHMS (Homeo), BAMS (Ayurveda), BSMS (Siddha), BUMS (Unani), B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture, B.Sc (Hons) Forestry, BVSc and AH (Veterinary), Bachelor of Fisheries and Sciences, B.Tech, B.Pharma are among the courses to be offered for admission.

Aspirants for Pharmacy courses will be admitted based on marks in Pharmacy Entrance Examinations transformed as per the prospectus conditions. Those seeking admission into BPharma must appear and qualify in Paper-1 (Physics and Chemistry) of Engineering Entrance Examination.
Admission into architecture courses will be done based on performance in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by Council of Architecture (COA) and marks in the plus-two exams. Applicants must be an Indian citizen to be eligible to apply.


An applicant of Kerala origin will be categorized as a ‘Keralite’. Only ‘Keralites’ are eligible for communal, special persons with disabilities reservation or fee concession. Applicant will be considered Keralite if his or her father or mother were born in Kerala.
Applicants should have achieved 17 years of age as on 31 December 2020. There is no upper age limit for engineering, architecture and B.Pharma courses. The upper age limit for Medical and Medical allied courses will be as per the Information Bulletin of NEET (UG) 2020.

Applications invited for KEAM 2020 – The application fee for Engineering, BPharma or both is Rs 700 for general category students and Rs 300 for SC category applicants. For medical and medical allied, architecture or both is Rs 500 and Rs 200 respectively for general and SC category applicants. The application fee can be paid online.
Those who want to take admission on NRI quota seats available in Private Self-Financing Medical/Dental colleges and Minority quota seats in engineering, architecture, pharmacy, medical and BDS courses in self-financing colleges having minority status should submit the required documents online by 5 pm on 29 February 2020.
