AIAPGET 2023 is an exam for students who wish to study conventional medicine. The dates for the test to be conducted this year are yet to be announced. Applications submission can be done after the admission notification is out.
Exam registration took place between 25 July 2022 to 18 August 2022 last year, this year the application submission is likely to begin by July 2023. The admit card was out about October 2022, and the test was held a few days after the launch of the hall ticket.
The trend this year with regard to AIAPGET 2023 too could be no different. The above said is only an estimate and the exact situation would be known only after the notification is out.
What is AIAPGET 2023?
The full name of the exam is All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET), it is conducted once a year and AIAPGET 2023 is meant to be conducted this year.
It is a post-graduate level test that is conducted on a national scale and candidates who wish to pursue postgraduation in conventional medical disciplines like Ayurveda, Unani, Homeopathy and Siddha in educational institutions located across India have to pass this exam.
Who can apply?
Students who have passed graduation in Unani, Ayurveda, Siddha, Homeopathy-BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, and BSMS can apply for AIAPGET 2023. Applicants must also complete one year of internship. There is no upper age limit for the applicants and no limits exist in connection with the number of attempts.
How to apply?
The process to apply for AIAPGET 2023 is online and the official website of the test is to be visited to submit applications. The URL to access the website is ‘https://aiapget.nta.nic.in/’
The URL has to be typed into the browser and the website should be allowed to download. Once the website is downloaded, the link for registration has to be clicked to create an account comprising a username and password.
Once the account is created, candidates can log in to fill out the form and pay the registration fee and submit it. Post submission, candidates have to wait for the successful submission and once the message is obtained, it has to be downloaded and a printout of it has to be taken and preserved for future use.
After the submission
Candidates have to download the hall ticket for AIAPGET 2023 at the appropriate time from the exam website and appear for the test on the date mentioned by the authorities concerned.
The test has to be passed with minimum qualifying marks which is also known as the cutoff score. Cutoff marks are the marks candidates have to get to become eligible for the next phase of the admission process or for final selection.
What after application submission
Candidates have to download the admit card for the AIAPGET 2023 exam and have to appear for the test on the said day. The test will be conducted in online mode and the questions are likely to be in multiple-choice format.
Applicants have to pass AIAPGET 2023 with the required cutoff marks which is also known as minimum qualifying marks. The cutoff score is the minimum mark that candidates have to score in the exam to become eligible for further admission process or for final selection.

The marks of the candidates have to be either greater than the cutoff score or equal to it. Students passing AIAPGET 2023 with the required cutoff score can apply for counselling where they can choose the course of their choice and the college they prefer to study it. Students who get a seat can pay the fees and join the course.
