Eligibility Criteria
- The candidates must be in the age bracket of 16.5 – 19 years.
- Their nationality should be Indian or a subject of Bhutan, a subject of Nepal, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st of January 1962.
- The candidates interested in the Electrical/ Marine Engineering /Architect field must have a 12th board degree. Or they should have its equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry with an aggregate of 75% in PCM and 50% marks in English either in 10th or 10+2.
Physical Requirements
- The candidates must possess good mental and physical health.
- They should be free of all diseases and disabilities.
- They should have a colour perception standard of CPII.
- The visual standards of their eyes should be under particular prescribed standards with and without glasses.

Opportunities of Career in Indian Navy
Engineering
The candidates who are interested in the engineering sector of Indian Navy get to the divisions of General Services, Naval Construction, and Submarine Engineering.
They are directly working with the submarines. They have to keep checking the submarines if they work properly and are in great condition. Other work in the engineering department includes designing, quality control, construction, and repairing the naval vessels.
Executive
The executive opportunities of a career in Indian Navy include Naval Armament Inspection Officer, Observer Officer, Hydrographic Officer, General Service Officer, Provost Officer, Pilot Officer, Diver Officer, Law Officer, and Information Technology branch.
