SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) is a deemed-to-be university run by Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM). It began in 1981 with a two-year management programme and 40 students at Bhaidas Hall, Vile Parle (West). - UG (NPAT, NMIMS-CET, NMIMS-MST, NMIMS-LAT): one registration at nmims.edu for the computer-based tests. In 2026 registration ran from 28 January to 26 May and tests from 10 February to 1 June, with a main attempt and up to two retakes; the two admission phases were merged into one round in June 2026. The registration fee in 2026 was Rs 2,000 for one school and Rs 3,000 for two in the NPAT and NMIMS-CET categories. Eligibility for most programmes is 50% in Class 12; B.Tech and MBA Tech need 45% in physics, mathematics and chemistry. Seats not filled through NMIMS-CET go to non-CET candidates on Class 12 physics, mathematics and chemistry marks (or diploma marks), with CUET, JEE Main or MH-CET qualified candidates preferred.
- MBA (NMAT): an NMAT by GMAC score, then a competency test and/or personal interview at NMIMS. For the batch 2027, applications ran from 20 August 2026 and the NMAT site shows them extended to 25 October 2026. Bachelor's degree with 50% in any discipline; the Business Analytics and Digital Transformation MBAs need a bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, statistics, computer science, IT, data science, economics or finance.
