VMST 2020 is Vedantu's next great gift for students
VMST 2020 is the next big gift from Vedantu for the students aspiring to pass competitive exams for education in prestigious institutions. Vedantu is the well-known live online learning platform.
Students studying in classes 6 to 12 can register for VMST 2020 and then take the test and register good scores to win fantabulous scholarships on various coaching programmes offered by Vedantu for NEET, JEE Mains or JEE Advanced, NTSE, CBSE.
Vedantu began conducting VMST 2020 from 3 pm of 25 October on its official website and will be conducted by 3 pm on every Sunday till 29 November.
Students can get into the official website of Vedantu and register of VMST 2020 to obtain credentials (username and password).
Students using the credentials can login into the official website by 3 pm of every Sunday till November 29 and attempt VMST 2020 to get a good score.
This is a big gift for all those students who are aspiring to come out with flying colours in the competitive exams.
VMST 2020 is also known as Vedantu Master Scholarship Test 2020.
VMST 2020 is divided into two stages, namely – Stage 1 and Stage 2.
Stage 1 is online and will be moderate, while Stage 2 will be proctored and difficult.
Currently Stage 1 of VMST 2020 is going on and the schedule of Stage 2 will be announced soon.
There is no registration fee for registering for VMSAT 2020 and anyone can take the test any number of times during till he gets the required score that can get him or her a scholarship in Vedantu.
The best part of it is that VMST 2020 can be attempted on a computer from anywhere.
The candidate can be anywhere, all he or she can do is to visit the official website and login using the Vedantu credentials on every Sunday till 29 November.
It is important for the applicants to start VMST by 3 pm on every Sunday till 29 November.
If candidates are late due to any unforseen reason, they can start taking the test about 30 minutes after the start time (3 pm).
While candidates who start the test time late by 30 minutes they would still get one hour time to complete the VMST 2020.
However, candidates who attempt to start the test after 30 minutes after the test start time will not be allowed to write the test.
How to register for VMST 2020 Stage 1
Students must visit the official website of VMST 2020 at ‘https://vmst.vedantu.com/#about-vsat’
Applicants must click the button ‘Register for Free’ which they would see below the banner.
Post clicking the button they can provide details their name, their grade, choose their target exam, provide email id and type password.
Also, candidates must provide their mobile number, school name, the city they reside and then submit them.
Post obtaining the username and password, candidates can come to the same website ‘https://vmst.vedantu.com/’ and then login into the appropriate link which will be made active by 3 pm of every Sunday till 29 November and give the test.
Every paper in VMST 2020 will have a total 50 objective questions with four options, only one of them will be right.
Needless to say, candidates have to choose the right answer to get four marks. If they choose a wrong answer one mark will be reduced.
The maximum marks in VMST 2020 stage 1 are 200 and time available to attempt the paper will be one hour and all test papers will be different for every class.
VMST 2020 Stage 1 results will be declared on 6 December.
Category 1 – Class 6th, 7th & 8th
Paper will contain 1 section – Mental Aptitude Test (MAT)
Total 50 questions.
All objective type questions with 4 options, only one of which is correct.
Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 mark (maximum marks 200).
The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour
Category 2 – Class 9th & 10th
Paper will contain 1 section – Mental Aptitude Test (MAT)
Total 50 questions.

Category 3 – Class 11th JEE Aspirants
Paper will contain 2 sections – Mental Aptitude Test (MAT) & Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
Each section will contain 25 questions (total 50 questions)

Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 mark (maximum marks 200)
The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour
Category 4 – Class 11th NEET Aspirants
Paper will contain 2 sections – Mental Aptitude Test (MAT) & Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
Each section will contain 25 questions (total 50 questions)
All objective type questions with 4 options, only one of which is correct
Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 mark (maximum marks 200)
The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour
Category 5 – Class 12th JEE Aspirants
Paper will contain 3 sections – Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
Each section will contain 10 questions (total 30 questions)
All objective type questions with 4 options, only one of which is correct.
Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 marks (maximum marks 120)
The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour
Category 6 – Class 12th NEET Aspirants
Paper will contain 3 sections – Physics, Chemistry & Biology
Physics & Chemistry will contain 15 questions each. Biology section will contain 30 questions (Total 60 questions).
All objective type questions with 4 options, only one of which is correct.
Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 marks (maximum marks 240)
The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour.

Category 7 – Dropper JEE
Paper will contain 3 sections – Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
Each section will contain 10 questions (total 30 questions)

Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 marks (maximum marks 120)
The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour
Category 8 – Dropper NEET
Paper will contain 3 sections – Physics, Chemistry & Biology
Physics & Chemistry will contain 15 questions each. Biology section will contain 30 questions (Total 60 questions).
All objective type questions with 4 options, only one of which is correct.
Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 marks (maximum marks 240)
