- If the tie remains, the higher percentage in the qualifying examination (SSC or equivalent) is considered.
- For Agricultural Polytechnics:
- Preference is given to marks in Biology.
- Next, Physics marks are considered.
- If the tie still exists, Chemistry marks are taken into account.
- The date of birth is used if the tie persists further, with preference to the older candidate.
- Finally, if necessary, the percentage of marks in the qualifying exam is considered.
Minimum Passing Marks and Eligibility
