TS PGECET 2020: Great admit cards are ready for download
TS PGECET 2020 exam admit cards have been released on 17 September and applicants can visit the official website for downloading them.
TS PGECET is also known as Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test and is conducted by Osmania University on behalf of Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE).
The registration for TS PGECET 2020 began on 12 March this year and was closed on 10 June.
The last date to submit application for TS PGECET 2020 was 31 July with a payment of late fee of Rs 500. The date of exam for TS PGECET is from 21 to 24 September.
As per the usual practise, admit cards or halltickets have been available for download on the official website of the exam a few days before the commencement of the test.
Applicants have to visit the official website ‘https://pgecet.tsche.ac.in/TSPGECET/PGECET_HomePage.aspx’ Post download of the webpage, applicants have to scroll down the page and find three columns titled ‘Information’ ‘Application’ and ‘Latest News’
Candidates for TS PGECET 2020 have to click ‘Download Hall Ticket’ button located under ‘Application’ menu.
Post click the button for hallticket download, a new page will appear where, applicants have to enter their registration number, date of birth and exam paper for entrance test.
Post providing of these three details candidates can press ‘download hallticket’ button written in white colour on green background to obtain their hallticket for TS PGECET 2020.
Once the hallticket for TS PGECET 2020 is downloaded, they have to check for any errors in that with regards to name of the candidate, exam centre location, exam date, registration number of the candidate and subject and exam timing.
In case of any errors, candidates must take it to the notice of authorities concerned for immediate rectification.
If there are no errors, applicants can go ahead and take a printout of the hall-ticket and preserve it. Candidates have to present the hallticket while entering the test centre for TS PGECET 2020.
Failure to produce the hall-ticket will lead to denial of entry into the exam centre for TS PGECET 2020.
This will making reaching the exam centre very easy on the day of TS PGECET 2020 exam.
The eligibility for candidates targeting M. Arch through TS PGECET 2020 exam is a pass in B.Arch from a recognised institution.
A pass in BE or BTech is a must for applicants seeking admission into post graduation courses in engineering (MTech). Pass in B.Pharmacy is must for M.Pharmacy aspirants.
Applicants for TS PGECET 2020 must be having a minimum of 50 percent pass marks in their qualifying degree if they are from general catergory.
The same for TS PGECET 2020 exam applicants from SC/ST categories is 45 percent. The exam pattern will have multiple choice questions where each question will have more than one reply.
The duration for TS PGECET 2020 is two hours and will be held in two sessions.
The first session will be in the morning from 10 am to 12 pm, the second session will be in the afternoon from 2 pm to 4 pm.
The question paper will be in english only and each right answer will have one mark, there is no negative marking in TS PGECET 2020 exam.
Post the TS PGECET, answer keys will be released and students can challenge them with adequate proof.
After receiving the objection from candidates, final answer key will be released for TS PGECET. The exam result is expected to be released in September or by October.
The official website mentioned earlier will be the place to know the result. Cutoff marks are also released on the official website of TS PGECET 2020.
Usually, the cutoff for general candidates is 30 marks and there is no minimum mark criteria that is applicable for SC/ST candidate.
Seats will be provided to candidates based on availability, student’s performance in exam, existing rules of reservation.
Counselling will be held in online and details about this will be posted on the official website for the exam at the appropriate time.
