Tamil Nadu class 12 results: Great 100% pass achieved
Tamil Nadu class 12 results for 2021 were released and it marked a 100 percent pass.
Enthusiasm started building across Tamil Nadu for the last few days, as the news for release of 12th class results began doing rounds.

Students who have applied for writing plus-two exams in Tamil Nadu can check their results.
Also arrear results for plus-one (2020-21) can also be viewed along with Tamil Nadu class 12 results for 2020-2021.
How to check the results
Tamil Nadu class 12 results can be checked online and as well as through mobile apps available on both Google PlayStore and Apple AppStore.
Online
Students should click the url ‘http://dge.tn.nic.in/’ soon after the webpage downloads, candidates would see three urls – ‘http://tnresults.nic.in’ ‘http://dge1.tn.nic.in’ and ‘http://dge2.tn.nic.in’
Individuals can click the first two links if they wish to see Tamil Nadu class 12 results for 2020-21 and also plus-one arrear results for 2020-21.
The third url is only for those who want to view only Tamil Nadu class 12 results for this year.
Procedure
Students have to click any one of the three above mentioned urls and soon after the webpage downloads, they can choose the link for viewing 12th class results or plus-one arrear results.
Post choosing the link, the students have to enter their registration number and date of birth and press the button ‘Get Marks’ to view Tamil Nadu class 12 results or plus-one arrear results.
Below the urls for seeing Tamil Nadu class 12 results online, they can see links for mobile apps to view plus-two results, plus-one result.
Procedure
Candidates can click either GooglePlayStore or AppleAppStore links of plus-two, plus one .
When Another webpage would download, students can install the App on their computer.
Post installation, candidates can open the Apps and enter their registration number and date of birth and submit them to get Tamil Nadu class 12 results or the results of plus-one or SSLC.
OR
Applicants can go to the mobile app store (either GooglePlayStore or AppleAppStore) and click the app for Tamil Nadu class 12 results and install the app on their mobile phone.
Soon after the app installs, students can open it and enter their registration number and date of birth and submit them to view the results.
Students have to send the registration number and date of birth in the format of DD/MM/YYYY and send it to 9282232585 or 9282232585.

Tamil Nadu class 12 results will be sent in form of SMS.
The result facts
A total of 8,16,473 students appeared through schools for plus-two exams in Tamil Nadu in 2021.
The same in 2020 stood at 7,79,931. The number of students who appeared in 2019 for plus-two exams in Tamil Nadu were 8,42,512.
Out of the candidates who registered for plus-two exams this year, 3,80,500 were boys and 4,35,973 were girls.
In the vocational stream, candidates who appeared are 31,051 boys and 20,829 girls.
The overall pass percentage this year as far as Tamil Nadu class 12 results are concerned is 100 percent.
The same was 92.3 percent last year. In 2019, overall pass percentage was 91.3 and the same in 2018 was 91.1 percent.
Out of these 8909 students, 7026 are girls and 1883 are boys.
About 30,599 students secured marks between 551 and 600 in the science stream. Out of them, 20,145 are girls and 10,454 are boys.
The same with regards to arts stream is 35. And, 25 of them are girls and 10 of them are boys.
The vocational stream has total of 136 students who got score that stands in between 551 to 600.
As per Tamil Nadu class 12 results, 109 are girls and 27 are boys.
Girls outshine boys
Tamil Nadu class 12 results further show that number of girls passing the plus-two exams this year is higher than that of boys.
The perfect 100
Another interesting fact as far as Tamil Nadu class 12 results for this year is concerned is that no students could manage to score perfect 100 percent in plus-two exams this year.
The exams will be conducted physically when the situation turns appropriate. However, the result obtained in the exam conducted physically will be considered final.
Provisional marksheets
Students who registered for plus-two exams this year will be getting their provisional marksheets.
The provisional marksheets will be available from July 22 onwards.
Precursor
Tamil Nadu class 12 results for 2021 were released on 19 July. The idea was to conduct the exams for classes 12 and 10 in Tamil Nadu.
However, the COVID-19 situation had resulted in postponement of the exams. Later on they had to be cancelled.
An alternative assessment method was followed to calculate the marks and announce Tamil Nadu class 12 results.
CBSE 12th class exam results are said to be out on 31 July.
