Result of NEET UG 2021 has been declared and now the focus is on what happens after the great exam. The process towards taking admission in medical colleges begins after the release of result of NEET UG 2021.

After the result of NEET UG 2021 is visible on the screen, students can check for accuracy in the information on the score card. In case if there is no error, students can download the marksheet and take a printout and preserve it for future use.

Students who have checked the result of NEET UG 2021 exam and have ensured themselves of the required score can also apply for Deemed and Central Universities also to study medicine.

Well-known Central Universities in our country are Alighar Muslim University, Banaras Hindu University, Jamia Millia Islamia and students can apply to study medicine here also.

The counselling process would be usually conducted by Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) and students have to apply for it as per the schedule released. DGHS can be visited on the website ‘https://dghs.gov.in/’

AYUSH and Veterinary Sciences

The website for applying for counselling with regards to AYUSH (Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, Homeopathy) seats is ‘https://aaccc.gov.in/’ The website for applying for counselling for veterinary science (BVSc and AH) would be announced soon.

Candidates have to visit the website and click the respective link and provide the required information and pay the required fees and upload the required documents and submit the form.

The number of boys who passed the exam are 3,75,260 while the number of girls who passed stood at 4,94,806.

The cutoff
The cutoff marks or marks required to get a seat to study medicine is also out along with the result of NEET UG 2021. The cutoff marks for this year unreserved category students or open category students is 720-138. The same for students from reserved categories (SC,ST and OBC) is 137-108.
