Financial support is also provided for students joining the PhD programme. Students joining the Ph.D. programme as regular student will be considered for Institute Fellowship. Presently institute is offering fellowship at the rate of Rs.31,000 per month in the first and second year and Rs.35,000 per month in third and fourth year. For fifth year, fellowship is at reduced rate, that is, Rs. 30,000 per month.

Additional financial support of Rs 50K is offered towards purchase of lap top/desktop. And, a contingency grant of Rs 10,000 per month is also offered. Full time Ph.D. students are encouraged to present their research work at International Conferences. Financial support of up to Rs. 2 lakh for the entire duration of the programme is available.
