NTA NEET 2020: Know DOs and DONTs on great exam day
NTA NEET 2020 will be conducted on September 13 and candidates must know what to do and what not to do on the day of the exam.
NTA NEET 2020 has received a very good response from students across the country which was visible in the large number of applicants for the exam. Over 15 lakh students applied for NTA NEET 2020.
The outbreak of corona virus also led to halt of many other exams including NTA NEET 2020. Though there were attempts to fix dates for the exam lateron, the test could not be conducted.
After much deliberation, date for NTA NEET 2020 was fixed as September 13. Now as many feel the prospects of contracting the infection may still loom large, NTA is conducting the exam with all precautions.
The exam conducting agency has already released the precautionary measures that students have to follow while writing NTA NEET 2020.
These precautionary measures are mentioned on the hall-tickets of the exam which students have downloaded.
Students writing NTA NEET 2020 have to submit a self-declaration form this year about their health status and also describing their recent travel history.
This is something which students who wrote NEET in the previous years did not do. For, there was no threat of any virus outbreak then.
Students attending NTA NEET 2020 must know that they have to enter into the hall with the right dress code.
The right dress code for candidates of NTA NEET 2020 clearly specifies what they have to wear from head to toe.
The footwear of students must be open simple like slippers or low-heel sandals. Closed footwear with thick soles including shoes is not permitted.

Even garments with large buttons are not permitted for the students coming to write NTA NEET 2020.
Light clothes with half sleeves and long sleeves are also not permitted at the exam centres for NTA NEET 2020.
Candidates who come to the exam centres of NTA NEET 2020 wearing a specific attire for religious or customary reason have to come to the centre well before the specified time to undergo the required checking.
Candidates coming for the exam must wear a mask of their own and carry along with them a hand sanitizer and water bottle.
Both the water bottle and sanitizer bottle must be transparent.
Candidates will be provided masks seperately at the exam and they have wear that and write the exam.
People with disabilities must also come in advance to the exam centres of NTA NEET 2020 and furnish the
PwD certificate and information about their scribes.
People coming as scribes must get their own self declaration form. The self declaration form must be filled and signed in front of the invigilator and submitted to the invigilators.
Students after completing the NTA NEET 2020 test must hand over admit cards and OMR sheets to the invigilators and retain the test booklet with themselves.
Applicants must remember not to wear any precious jewellery or fashion items like hats and carry with them any gadgets including smartphones.
If they carry them, they can deposit them with their guardians before entering the exam hall of NTA NEET 2020.
Students will not be allowed to enter into the exam with these things.
Applicants for NEET NTA 2020 must also remember to arrange their transportation well-in advance to reach the exam centre and be sure of it to avoid last minute complications.
Applicants are also advised to visit their exam centre for NTA NEET 2020 well before the exam to know its exact location.
Doing this makes reaching the exam centre on the day of exam easy.
NTA NEET 2020 is expected to witness a good presence of applicants as it happened in the previous years.
