NRTI courses: Its a great place for Railway Engineering
NRTI courses is all about engineering, management and other graduate level courses offered by National Rail and Transportation Institute.
NRTI (National Rail and Transportation Insitute) is a deemed to be university established by Ministry of Railways of Government of India.
NRTI courses are offered in three main streams namely BTech (Engineering), MBA (Management) and MSc (Sciences) programme.
NRTI courses in the engineering stream are B.Tech (Rail Infrastructure), B.Tech (Rail Systems) and B.Tech (Communications Engineering).
NRTI courses in the MSc stream are ‘Systems Engineering and Intergation’ ‘Systems and Analytics’ and ‘Policy and Economics’ And NRTI courses in MBA stream are ‘Transportation Management’ and MBA in ‘Supply Chain Management.’

Among the NRTI courses in MSc stream, MSc in Systems Engineering and Integration has been designed in association with University of Birmingham of United Kingdom.

The NRTI couses at undergraduate level are offered under BBA and BSc streams.
BBA in Transportation Management and BSc in Trasportation Technology are the NRTI courses at undergraduate level.
The duration
The duration of undergraduate NRTI courses (BBA and BSc) is three years. The engineering stream (BTech) NRTI courses is for four years.
The post gradudate NRTI courses are likely for a duration of two years.
Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for is different for each of these NRTI courses.
For BBA, candidates who have passed plus two with maths as one of the subject can apply.
For BSc, candidates from science stream who have passed plus-two with maths as one of the subjects can apply for the course.
Applicants aspiring for NRTI courses in the BTech stream must have passed plus-two with maths, physics and chemistry as subjects and also must have a good score in JEE Mains exam.
Candidates seeking to join MBA or MSc programmes must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline and one of the subjects must be either Maths or Statistics.
For all the courses, the pass marks must be 55 percent in case of general category candidates and 50 percent in case of SC/ST/OBC category candidates.
Post application, candidates have to clear NTRI-AAT Test (NTRI Admission Aptitude Test) which will be conducted in June every year.
Candidates applying for anyone of the NRTI courses must be under 25 years of age at the time of application.

Admission for NRTI courses will be announced through various means like newspapers, social media platforms, internet news websites at the appropriate time.
Soon after the advertisement for admission into NRTI courses is out, candidates can visit the official website ‘https://nrti.edu.in/’ and click the appropriate link which will be highlighted on the website at the time of admissions.
Candidates can register and then commence applying for NRTI courses.
Hostel and Mess is compulsory for students as the undergraduate programme is fully residential. And mess fees will be on actuals and fees are subject to an annual increase of up to 10 percent.
Students aiming for post graduate courses must remember that hostel and mess is optional for postgraduate students. Here too, mess fees will be on actuals and fees are subject to an annual increase of up to 10 percent.
For MSc in Railway Systems Engineering and Integration (International degree program with University of Birmingham, UK), annual tuition fee in the first year (to study in India) would be Rs 1,25,000 and in the second year (to study in UK) would be £ 18,625 (as per prevailing fees at UoB). Travel and Living expenses are not included in the fee.
