The preliminary results of the Supreme Court were announced on June 4, with as many as 67 candidates scoring 720. However, the difference was due to extra marks awarded for time lost during the test due to invigilator errors and free marks awarded for controversial physics questions.
The Supreme Court intervened and ruled that only one answer to a controversial question was acceptable, requiring a review of the results. In response to these questions, NTA re-administered the exam on 23 June for 1,563 candidates who missed the first exam on 5 May. This re-examination aims to guarantee the fairness and integrity of the exams.

The Medical Consultative Committee (MCC) and state advisory bodies will soon announce an online counselling programme. NTA recommends all qualified candidates meet the requirements of the relevant authorities including the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) and State Medical Education Board for admission to MBBS/BDS courses.
