NBSE Result 2020 has been released and Abhi Chakraborty of Holy Cross Higher Secondary School in Dimapur secured the first position in the HSLC Exam for this year.

Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) conducted High School Leaving Certificate Exam (HSLC, 10th standard) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate Exam (HSSLC, 12th standard) exams recently.

NBSE Result 2020 was declared on 30 May by about afternoon. The enthusiasm of the candidates stood at all time highlevels. They hurried to know their score soon after NBSE Result 2020 was made public.

For students the declaration of results is very important. It is based on these results that they can plan their entry into the next stages of education. Entry into graduation needs a pass in plus-two and an entry into plus-one needs a pass in 10th exams.

After the link is clicked, another page with url ‘http://www.nbsenagaland.com/results.htm’ is downloaded. Students will find two links on this page again namely ‘HSSLC 2020 (Gazette)’ and ‘HSLC 2020 (Gazette)’

Once both the links are clicked, a file is downloaded which will show the result along with the percentage candidates have scored and also the school where they come from.

Students have to get into the website and provide their details like their name, roll number, date of birth to obtain NBSE Result 2020.

To know the result for 10th exam 2020 students must type NB10 give space and type their roll number on their mobile phone and send it to 56070.

Similarly to know the 12th exam 2020 result students must send type NB12 and leave space and type their roll number and send it to 56070.

The other way to know the NBSE Result 2020 is through mobile app of NBSE. The app is available on Google Playstore and students can download it.

After downloading the app, students have to open it and enter their roll number and date of birth to get Nagaland 10th 12th result.

NBSE Result 2020 showed that Abhi Chakraborty got the first position in the 10th class exam this year by scoring 590 marks and getting a percentage of 98.33%.

The second position went to Palak Baid of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School in Dimapur with a score of 83 marks and a percentage of 97.17%.

NBSE Result 2020 showed that Imbelina Jamir secured third position in the Nagaland 10th exams this year with a score of 580 marks and a percentage of 96.67%.

NBSE Result 2020 further showed that Chumblia R of Loyola Higher Secondary School in Kiphire with a score of 460 marks and a percentage of 92.00% in the arts stream.

Limayengar Longchar from Mezhur Higher Secondary School in Kohima with a score of 457 and percentage of 91.40% got second position in the arts stream in the recently conducted 12th exam.

NBSE Result 2020 showed that in commerce stream of 12th exams conducted this year in Nagaland, Ichha Upadhyay got first position with a score of 494 and a percentage of 98.80%.

The second position in the commerce stream went to Renuka Debnath who score 474 marks and a percentage of 94.80%.

Going further into the NBSE Result 2020, Anushka Bhattacharjee got first position in the science stream with a marks of 476 and a percentage of 95.20%. Anushka is from Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School in Dimapur.

The second position in the same stream went to MD. Chand from Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School in Dimapur with a score of 463 and a pass percentage of 92.60%.

Going further into the statistics related to the NBSE Result 2020, a total of 4515 students enrolled for the 10th exam from the government schools. About 1910 were boys and 2605 were girls.

NBSE Result 2020 says about 911 boys from government schools in Nagaland were qualified in the 10th exam, while the number of girls who qualified in 10th exam were 1229.

NBSE Result 2020 shows that as far as private schools were concerned in Nagaland about 7089 boys enrolled for the exam and 5974 of them got qualified.

A total of 7812 girls got enrolled for the 10th exam from private schools in Nagaland and 6883 out of them qualified.

This details with regards to NBSE Result 2020 shows that number of girls qualifying the 10th exam were greater in number than boys.

As far as 12th exams are concerned, NBSE Result 2020 shows that about 1260 boys have enrolled for 12th exam from government institutions this year in arts stream and 925 out of them have passed the exam.

And 1668 girls have enrolled for the 12th exam in arts stream from government institutions. Out of them 1360 girls have passed the exam.

As far as private institutions are concerned, arts stream has witnessed an enrollment of 3089 boys and 3873 girls. About 2303 boys and 3302 girls have passed the exam.

NBSE Result 2020 further stated that commerce stream has witnessed 51 boys and 52 girls enrolling for the 12th exams this year from government institutions.

The qualified boys are 44 and about 45 girls have passed the exam from the government institutions. Commerce stream in the private institutions saw 568 boys and 475 girls enrolling for 12th exams.

About 445 boys and 423 girls passed the exams in the commerce stream. Science stream saw 150 boys enrolling for the exam from government institutions.

The same number of girls enrolled for the exam from government institutions. While 113 boys passed the exam, about 131 girls got qualified in the exam.

Private institutions saw 907 boys enrolling for the exam of 12th class this year and about 948 girls enrolling for 12th exams.

NATA 2025 application submission has started from 3 February 2025 and will be on till April 2025 at ‘https://www.nata.in/’ The exam will be conducted from 7 March 2025 till 28 June 2025.

The exam is being conducted on every Friday and Saturday from 7 March to 28 June 2025, closing date for online NATA 2025 application submission is Friday exam is 11:59 PM on every Monday from 7 March to 28 June 2025.

During that duration, the exam will be conducted on Fridays in afternoon session from 1:30 to 4:30 pm.

It will also be held on Saturdays in morning (10 am to 1 pm) and afternoon (1:30 pm to 4:30 pm). The duration for the exam on all these days is for three hours.

Who can take up NATA 2025 application submission?

Candidates who have passed plus-two from a recognized educational institution can take up NATA 2025 application submission. It is nothing but applying for the exam.

Subjects in the plus-two must be from the science stream. Architecture aspirants have to pass plus-two with maths, physics, and chemistry as subjects.

Students who have appeared for plus-two exams and are waiting for the results or are about to appear for plus-two exams can also apply.

They have to, however, pass the exam and provide proof of it by the time of admission.

Candidates taking up NATA 2025 application submission can pay a fee of  ₹1750 if they are from General or OBC categories.

SC/ST/EWS/PwD category candidates have to pay NATA 2025 application submission fee of ₹1250, applicants from transgender category candidates can pay  ₹1000 while taking up NATA 2025 application submission and fee for the outside India candidates is ₹15000.
