National Award to Teachers 2023 will be presented in two categories – Category 1 and Category 2. Category 1 comprises vocational training which involves ITIs, Polytechnic Institutions, NSTIs, PMKVY Institutions and Entrepreneurship institutions.
Category 2 of National Award To Teachers 2023 involves other higher educational institutions. Candidates can apply for National Award To Teachers 2023 in either one of the categories.
Who can apply?
The applicants of National Award To Teachers 2023 must be teachers in the educational institutions with commendable experience and achivements.
Individuals who are working as teachers in ITIs, Polytechnic institutions, NSTIs, PMKVY institutions and Entrepreneurship Development Institutions can apply in Category 1.
Those who are working as teachers in other higher educational institutions can apply for National Awards To Teachers 2023 under Category 2.

The award and selection
Each awardee shall be presented with a medal, a certificate and a cash prize of Rs 50,000. There will be an initial shortlisting of candidates by a preliminary search cum screening committee.
The initial evaluation will be based on the citation produced by candidates which describes their achievements. The details about the shortlisted candidates will be sent to the Jury for the final selection.
Candidates who are shortlisted for National Awards To Teachers 2023 will be called for an interview. The final selection will be likely based on their achievements in the teaching profession, their innovative work to achieve the desired results and others.
Those who are selected will be likely intimated the time and date when they would be presented with National Awards To Teachers 2023. The winners can be at the venue at the as per the schedule to receive the awards.
