Thanks to a historic partnership with the National Atmospheric Research Laboratory (NARL) of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Manav Rachna University (MRU) has installed a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver, making it the first university in the Delhi NCR to do so. Installing a GNSS and Space Weather Laboratory on the MRU campus signified this momentous breakthrough.

Integrating with the NARL North-South network of receivers, the GNSS receiver at MRU supports important research on planetary ionospheres, space weather, climate, and weather.
