Maharashtra Class 10 Results 2023 are to be announced soon by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE). The results of class 10 board exams are something students are eagerly waiting for right now in Maharashtra.
This has generated a lot of questions in everyone’s mind as to what would be the performance. The pass percentage during the previous year was 96.94%.
The date and time are not yet known as far as the declaration of Maharashtra Class 10 Results 2023 are concerned. There may be an announcement soon and students can periodically check the official websites for the results.
Class 10 exams for this year were conducted from 2 to 25 March 2023 in Maharashtra. This year really stands special as far as class 10 exams are concerned.
A total of 15,77,256 students registered for class 10 exams in Maharashtra this year (2023). The board exams for class 10 were conducted across 5,033 exam centres.
Among those who appeared for class 10 exams this year, 8,44,116 were boys and 7,33,067 girls. The focus now has shifted to Maharashtra Class 10 Results 2023 release.
The toppers
Sources say the names of the toppers in SSC Exams for 2023 will not be disclosed. However, other details like the overall pass percentage, and district-wise performance will be informed along with the announcement of Maharashtra Class 10 Results 2023.
Performance
The pass percentage witnessed in 2022 for class 10 exams was quite impressive at 96.94%. The number of students who appeared was 15,68,977. The pass percentage for boys was 96.06 and that for girls was 97.96%.
The pass percentage in 2021 was also quite impressive, with 99.95%. One has to wait and see what would be the performance would be for 2023 and that would be known when Maharashtra Class 10 Results 2023 will be out.
Supplementary Exam
Candidates who have passed the class 10 exams for 2023 can move ahead with their plans. Those who did not have to apply for supplementary exams.
The schedule for that would be informed either with the release of Maharashtra Class 10 Results 2023 or shortly after its declaration.
Students must obtain 35% marks at the minimum in each subject to pass it. The overall pass percentage must also be 35% at the minimum to pass the class 10 exams.
Once it is ready, candidates have to click the link <Apply for Supplementary>. They then have to select the subject/s for which they wish to write the supplementary exam.
After selecting the subjects, they have to upload a copy of Maharashtra Class 10 Results 2023 (regular exam), their passport-size photograph, admit card, and ID proof.
Candidates can log in to the official website mentioned above with their accounts after the results for class 10 are declared for more information on supplementary exams.
Re-evaluation or re-checking
Students who have checked their Maharashtra Class 10 Results 2023 and are not satisfied with the marks obtained can opt for re-evaluation or re-checking.
They have to visit the official website of MSBSHSE at ‘https://mahahsscboard.in/’ and click the link for re-checking or re-evaluation.
Once the webpage opens up, candidates have to fill out the application form mentioning the subjects for which they would like to take up re-evaluation or re-checking. The required fee has to be paid and then the form has to be submitted.
