LSAC announces two scholarships – LSAC (Law School Admission Council), a United States of America based not-for-profit organisation devoted to promoting quality, access and equity in law and education worldwide, announced two scholarships that will give aspiring lawyers taking the upcoming LSAT-India test a very good chance to study in best law school.

This test provides the opportunity to study at some of the best law schools in India. The LSAT—India Topper Scholarship which is being awarded for the second consecutive year, will offer up to a maximum of Rs 4 lakh to the 2020 LSAT—India Scholar—the test taker who achieves the overall highest reported score on the LSAT—India at the upcoming May 17, 2020 test administration.
Details about the application process and deadline will be available soon on the discoverlaw.in website. The submission deadline for entries is Friday, 8 May, 2020.

Bar Council of India prescribes the minimum curriculum required to be taught in order for an institution to be eligible for the grant of a law degree.
The Bar Council also carries on a period supervision of the institutions conferring the degree and evaluates their teaching methodology and curriculum and having determined that the institution meets the required standards, recognizes the institution and the degree conferred by it.
