KCMET invites applications for great MAITS 2024
KCMET is inviting applications for its annual Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship (MAITS) 2024.

This scholarship is awarded to students belonging to economically disadvantaged families, who wish to pursue a job-oriented Diploma course at a recognised Government Polytechnic in India, say sources from KCMET.
Objective
This Scholarship was established to encourage and support young students from rural and urban areas to pursue job-oriented Diplomas.
This Trust awards Rs. 10,000/- per annum to 550 students annually, for a maximum period of 3 years.
Till date, 12,390 students have been awarded the scholarship across India, say sources from KCMET.
Who can apply?
Candidates willing to apply for MAITS 2024 Candidate should have passed SSC/HSC or equivalent examinations in the 10th /12th standard with more than 60% marks.
Candidate should have secured admission in a government or any other recognized Polytechnic Institute for diploma course. Only first year candidates are eligible to apply, say sources from KCMET.
The candidate should belong to a family with low yearly income.
Points to remember
Preference will be given to girl students, children from lower income group families, differently abled children, and children of armed forces personnel or other Central Armed Police Forces.
The application form needs to be filled online and the documents requested should also be uploaded while submitting the application form.
The applicants have to also note down the documents that have to be submitted along with the application from the official website which is ‘https://www.kcmet.org/index.aspx’
The deadline to submit the applications for students from Karnataka is 7th August 2024 and for Tamil Nadu is 11th August 2024, say sources from KCMET.
The last date to apply for students from other states is 21st August 2024.

2. After the above website is ready, candidates can click the button Mahindra All India Talent Scholarships 2024 – APPLICATIONS OPEN
3. Clicking the above button will open another webpage with URL ‘https://www.kcmet.org/what-we-do-Scholarship-Grants.aspx#bobcontent0-title’
4. Once the webpage with above URL opens, candidates can read all the required information and scroll down to press CLICK HERE TO APPLY
5. Pressing the above button will open another webpage with URL ‘https://maitsscholarship.kcmet.org/’
6. Once the webpage with above URL opens, candidates can register and create an account.
7. After the account is created, candidates can login and start applying for the scholarship by KCMET.
Documents
Candidates applying for MAITS 2024 of KCMET have to also keep in mind that they have to submit the required documents along with the application.
The required documents are like class 10, class 12 marksheets, admission proof from the institution where the candidate is joining for studies, say sources from KCMET.
