The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced important updates for the Diploma CET (DCET) Counselling 2024. To accommodate various candidates, including those from the Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF) and working professionals, the document verification deadline has been extended to July 14, with the options submission deadline now set for July 15.

This extension ensures that all eligible candidates have ample time to complete the necessary steps for successful participation in the counselling process, securing their desired seats in engineering courses. Candidates must adhere to the new timelines and guidelines provided by KEA for a smooth counselling experience.

The deadline for submitting options for the 2024 Diploma CET (DCET) counselling has been extended by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) to July 15. Due to the candidates’ ability to appear for document verification until July 14th, an extension has been granted.

Karnataka DCET Counselling 2024

DCTE 2024 counselling is now available to candidates of the Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF). In a formal announcement, KEA stated, “The candidates who have passed the NTTF will be given the result and considered for seat allotment, per the interim order in the high court.”

During July 13 and July 14, such candidates can have their certificates checked. Those who pass the document verification process will be allowed to enter the options and will be given priority for seat assignments in the first round.

The exam authorities have notified working professionals that if they do not submit the required one-year service certificate, they will not be able to be admitted to the second year of engineering courses under the professional quota for DCET 2024. To be classified as regular diploma applicants, these individuals must attend the document verification and get verification slips. These candidates will be assigned a standard rank and be permitted to submit options for consideration in the first round of seat distribution.

Furthermore, aspirants begged KEA to permit document verification even though they did not show up for it. These applicants can participate in the verification process from now, July 13, through tomorrow, July 14.

The date for registering OPTIONS for the first round of seat allotment has been extended up to 15-07-2024 No.8.00 due to the aforementioned reasons and the inclusion of the seats relinquished by the Governing Body to the Government in the seat matrix. The schedule after seat distribution will soon be posted on the authority’s website, according to KEA.

Now the announcement has been made with regards to application schedule of the exam. Exam will be conducted on 15 June 2025 and result will be released by 15 July 2025.

A circular did rounds recently which said the NEET PG 2025 exam date was changed to 17 August 2025.

It is to note that NBEMS, the authority conducting NEET PG exam in a notification mentioned earlier that NEET PG 2025 will be conducted on 15 June.

It is also to note that no notification regarding change in exam date for NEET PG 2025 has come out from the authorities who conduct the exam.

This only means the exam will likely be conducted on date said earlier (15 June 2025).

NEET PG 2025 Registration fee

NEET PG 2025 fee is the amount applicants have to pay while applying for the exam. NEET PG 2025 registration fee to pay is Rs 4250 if applicants are from General, OBC and EWS categories. The same for those from SC/ST/PwD categories is Rs 3250.

The amount mentioned above can change due to various reasons, candidates can refer the information brochure on the official website mentioned above at the time of registration for latest information.

The link for it will be activated at the appropriate time on the official website. The link will turn active about 10 or 20 days before the exam day. It can be downloaded as per the instructions below:

2. Once the website is ready, the link for admit card has to be clicked.

3. After clicking the link, candidates have to enter their application number, date of birth and other details and submit them to obtain the hall ticket.

Candidates can appear for the exam with their hall tickets. They have to pass the exam with required qualifying marks to be eligible for the next phase of admission which comprises counselling.
