JEE Mains April September registration: Download HTs for the great exam
JEE Mains April (September) registration this year has witnessed a 7.12% decline.
Candidates who have applied for Paper 1 in JEE Mains April (September) are less in number than those who have applied for the same paper in JEE Mains January this year.
The total number of candidates registered for JEE Mains April (September) this year stands at 8,58,273, the same to who registered for JEE Mains January this year stood at 11,18,673.
Sources say the reduction in registrations for JEE Mains April exam could be due to COVID-19 situation, uncertainty brought in by the situation could have prompted many not to go for the exam.
However, going further into details related to JEE Mains April exam this year, out of 8,58,273 candidates, those who applied only for BE/BTech stood at 7,46,115.
Candidates who have applied for only B.Arch through JEE Mains April 2020 are 13,609. Around 699 students applied only for B.Planning.
Candidates who have applied for B.Tech and B.Arch are 53,520. Those who have applied for B.Tech and B. Planning through JEE Mains April (September) are 5,580.

About 2,777 have applied for B.Arch and B.Planning through JEE Mains April 2020. And, about 35,973 candidates have applied for B.Tech, B.Arch and B.Planning.
Candidates have to remember that JEE Mains is conducted twice a year, first time the exam is held in January, the second it is conducted in April.
However, this year JEE Mains April will be conducted in September owing to delay caused due to lockdown to regulate the spread of COVID-19.
JEE Mains April will be conduted in computer based mode (CBT/online) at 605 centres for B.Tech./B.E. and 489
Centres for B.Arch. and B.Planning located in 224 cities throughout the country and 8 cities
abroad during the earlier said duration.
Meanwhile, National Testing Agency (NTA) which conducts JEE Mains April has also announced the availability of hall-tickets for download on the official website of NTA for JEE Mains April exam.
The official website for the exam where applicants can download hall-tickets also known as admit cards is ‘jeemain.nta.nic.in’
Applicants of JEE Mains April (September) can go to the official website mentioned earlier and click the button ‘JEE (Main) April/September 2020 Admit Card’ written in white colour on maroon background.
Candidates have to click that and enter their application number and date of birth and press submit button to go ahead with the download of hall-ticket.
Applicants this time are advised to give an online undertaking of JEE (Main) September 2020 and go through the instructions contained theirin as well as in the information bulletin before downloading the hall ticket.
Admit Card for JEE Mains April, this time, has four pages including the important Instructions for candidates given on Page-2 and advisory for candidates regarding COVID-19 on Pages 3 and 4.
They are also advised to follow the instructions and the advisory in letter and spirit.
On the day of the examination, the candidate has to also bring to the exam centre, the undertaking given on the Admit Card at Page-1 (duly filled in, except his/her signature which he/she will be required to do in the presence of Invigilator).
This Undertaking is in addition to the one filled online at the time of downloading the Admit Card.
In case any applicant is not able to download his/her Admit Card along with Undertaking he/she may send email to ‘jeemain@nta.ac.in’
Considering the prevailing COVID-19 condition, NTA has made all efforts for smooth conduct of the examination.
The students as well as their parents/guardians are also requested to cooperate with NTA for successful conduct of the examination in safe and healthy environment by sincerely following the Instructions and Advisories.
