JEE Main 2021 March: 13 students get great 100 percentile
JEE Main 2021 March session result has been declared and 13 candidates scored 100 percentile.
This is more than what was seen in the previous edition of JEE Mains which took place in February this year.
Experts feel happy about this development, it is heartening to note that number of candidates who scored 100 percentile in JEE Main 2021 March has gone up, says T.R. Krishnamurthy, a 12th standard teacher with CBSE.

The exam
JEE Main 2021 March exam for Paper 1 (BE/BTech) admission took place from 16 to 18 March across the 334 cities.
These 334 cities included 12 cities outside India namely Baharain, Colombo, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu, Kualalumpur, Lagos, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore, and Kuwait in 792 Centres.
Kargil, Kualalumpur and Lagos were added for the first time on the request of candidates.
The team and languages
Conducting JEE Main 2021 March exam was no ordinary task by any means.
A total of 707 observers, 261 city-coordinators, 19 regional coordinators, six special coordinators and two national coordinators were deployed at these centres to oversee the smooth and fair conduct of JEE Main 2021 March test.
Paper 1 of JEE Main 2021 March edition was conducted in six shifts from 16 to 18 March.
Much like the earlier edition, JEE Main 2021 March edition was also conducted 13 languages namely – English, Hindi, Gujarati along with Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
The number of students who sat for JEE Mains 2021 March edition were 5.9 lakhs. The levels of attendance were more than satisfactory at various centres.
How to check the result
Candidates for JEE Main 2021 March exam have to visit the official website of the exam hosted by National Testing Agency (NTA) at ‘https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/webinfo2021/Page/Page?PageId=1&LangId=P’
Soon after the webpage downloads on clicking the above url, candidates of JEE Main 2021 March exam must scroll down the page and locate the button ‘JEE (Main) February & March 2021 Session Result’
Candidates have to click the located button and choose the examination session (February or March) and provide their application number, date of birth and enter security code and submit the details.
Post submission, candidates of JEE Main 2021 March exam can view their results.
Post result
Soon after the results for JEE Main 2021 March exam are visible, candidates can check for any errors with regards to any data on it.
In case of errors, they have to take it to the notice of the authorities concerned for rectification.
If no errors are found with any information on the result scorecard for JEE Main 2021 March exam, candidates can download the marksheet and preserve it for future use.
As usual, for those who feel the score in JEE Main 2021 March is not enough, can apply for next edition of JEE Mains which will be conducted in April and May.
As for candidates who have good score and want admission in IITs can concentrate on JEE Advanced preparation.

Candidates who feel they need to score more than what they got in JEE Main 2021 March test can visit the official website of the exam run by NTA to register for April or May sessions.
Candidates can visit the official website ‘https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/webinfo2021/Page/Page?PageId=1&LangId=P’ and click the required link for registration and apply for April or May editions of JEE Mains 2021.
While those who are already registered can login and apply, those who are not can register themselves and then apply for the exam.
The toppers
About 13 students who wrote JEE Main 2021 March exam scored 100 percentile.
Bannuru Rohit Kumar Reddy (Telangana), Bratin Mondal (West Bengal), Siddharth Kalra (Delhi – NCT) and Kumar Satyadarshi (Bihar) are among the toppers.
Mridul Agarwal of Rajasthan, Ashwin Abraham of Tamil Nadu, Atharva Abhijit Tambat of Maharashtra, Bakshi Gargi Makarand of Maharashtra also scored great 100 percentile.
Among the 13 cent percentile scorers were Zenith Malhotra of Rajasthan, Madur Adarsh Reddy of Telangana, Josyula Venkata Aditya of Telangana, Rohit Kumar of Rajasthan and Kavya Chopra of Delhi-NCT.
Statewise toppers
Sujay Karmakar was the topper from Andaman and Nicobar Islands with a score of 98.851383 in JEE Main 2021 March exam.
Anumolu Vinayak Khanna of Andhra Pradesh was also among the state level topper with a score of 99.997869.
Vivek Singh a topper from Arunachal Pradesh scored 98.168785 in JEE Main 2021 March exam.
Uttar Pradesh and states
It is not only IIITs or NITs who will be using the scores of JEE Main 2021 March exam.
Many technical education institutions in Uttar Pradesh are to use the scores of JEE Mains exam while providing admission into engineering courses offered by them.
Educational institutions in Haryana, MP, Uttarakhand, Odisha and Punjab have already been using the scores of JEE Mains exam.
The final merit list of the candidates will be out after the April and May editions of JEE Mains exam are completed.
Toppers voice
Kavya Chopra is among the proud toppers as she scored 300 marks out of 300.
The special point here is she is said to be the first girl candidate who happens to get great 100 percentile.
Sources say, she had attended the previous edition of JEE Mains and her score was 99.9 percentile.
However that did not allow her to remain satisfied. She went ahead and scored perfect 100 percent in JEE Main March 2021 exam.
What is the future plan of this topper? Getting a seat in IIT Delhi or IIT Bombay and study computer science.
Another topper Rohit Kumar is also on a all time high. This JEE Main 2021 March exam candidate scored great 100 percent.
This student also wants to become a part of IIT and believes positive mindset is the key for cracking an exam like JEE Mains.
