IITRDF and SYSTRA MVA Consulting (India) Private Limited (SYSTRA India) have announced a collaborative initiative, marking a significant milestone in the realm of sustainable infrastructure development.
The partnership is set to materialize through the execution of a pioneering CSR project titled “Unravelling the Characteristics of Ultra High-Performance Concrete: From Micro to Macro, say sources from IITRDF.
IITRDF stands for Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee Development Foundation and the project aims to unravel the intricacies of Ultra High-Performance Concrete (UHPC) for optimal application in sustainable infrastructure projects.
Leveraging cutting-edge research methodologies and technological advancements, the collaboration intends to bring about a paradigm shift in the construction industry’s approach to durable and resilient infrastructure, say sources from IITRDF.
This landmark partnership between IITRDF and SYSTRA MVA Consulting symbolizes a shared commitment to innovation, sustainable development, and societal progress, underlining the proactive efforts of both institutions in addressing critical challenges in the field of infrastructure development.
The tieup between IITRDF and SYSTRA took place on 8 November 2023 at IIT Roorkee. Those who took part in the event were Mr. Hari Somalraju (CEO, SYSTRA India), Dr. Nishith Gupta (CTO, SYSTRA India), and IITRDF’s Board of Directors and Faculties of IIT Roorkee represented by Prof. K.K.Pant (Director, IIT Roorkee), Prof. R.D. Garg (DORA), Prof. Praveen Kumar (HoD, Department of Civil Engineering).
Also present were Prof. Manish Shrikhande (Earthquake Department), Prof. Sudakshina Dutta (Department of Civil Engineering), Prof. Anumita Mishra (Department of Civil Engineering), and Mr. Vaibhav Sharma (F&A Manager, IITRDF).
